Ebbtide makes a top notch boat. I owned one a few years back. Very nice lay-up.

I love all the room!  Its like a poon-toon with a V hull! And all kinds of gizmos and gadgets!

Its also my first boat with a prop! (two of them) That makes me a little nervous :rolleyes

Thanks!  Now I think I can feel confident going all the way to Havi! This boat is really tall with a 9' beam... It might be able to take that havi chop too :good

The maiden voyage is this weekend!  So maybe two in a row :)

WOW!!!!   Congrats on the new ride!!!  :good   You will be able to take on the Havasu chop much better. I went from 18' to a 21' deck and man what a difference in hadling and ride.  Now that you have gone deck you will not want anything ells due to the room to move around when you have 6-8 people in the boat.   :good   :beer

An Ebb Tide owner once told me Ebb Tide was made by the same folks who make Chapperal. In the side shot it looks a lot like a C. Sunsetta. Have you heard anything of this. They seem to me to be a very well made boat. :good  :D

I have no clue about being the same as chapparel  :confused

But I was really surprised how well it was rigged and put together!   All of the options that I could think of were already on the boat. :)  


But the Biggest selling point other than comfort, and my percieved quality was the 6 year warranty on the drive train, W unlimited hours...  I guess Volvo/Penta gives a longer warranty???

But Im still not sure about the whole counter rotating props thing...  Just seems like more prop to f up????
