The negitive;
Launch sucks, wind can get nasty,Yogi bear likes to steal picnic baskets, Lots of lake lice between the damn and powerline cove, and an over population of uneducated boaters attracted to cheap rooms in Laughlin.
The good.
The basin is awsome when there is no wind, there are tons of great coves,you can find privacy somewhere on the lake most every weekend, I think its a pretty lake, the top part of the lake is amazing. The lake lice stay below the power lines for the most part. The show at the launch ramp Sat after noon is second to none, and the greasy spoon serves a wonderful breakfast my personal fav is the meatloaf and eggs.
Oh Yea F- Mohave. that skinny guy is right.
Give it a shot, Mohave rules in Oct. the best month of the year by far.

October huh? I think that we have an extended weekend in Mid October for a little celebration, what do you say Irmanator, wanna go to Mohave??? |
I don't know about being able to get any extra time off but it sure sounds great for a weekend!!!
