:pirate Argggg! I'm back... I haven't even been home yet. I rolled straight in from Havy and right to my cubicle.  I'll upload the pics tonight.
Funny things from this weekend
1. Don't run from the cops in the channel, they WILL tase you. (Not me, but man that was really funny to watch)
2. Try not to pull up your anchor chain into your prop, it makes a really bad sound and stops the motor (again, not me but really funny to watch)
3. Watch out for people who drive these new boats called WATER RODS, can you say N-O-V-I-C-E Boaters!
4. Chicks really dig the new octabong!

Any-hoo that's pretty much my weekend in a nutshell!  :D  I got grrrrreat pics of the new octabong, so I'll be posting them. Had a great time and NO injuries to report.  :pirate

We saw two seperate incidents at the Sandbar on Saturday where a water rod cut through someone's anchor line and or got the line tangled up in their prop ultimately stopping the prop. Then they would just shut off their boat and drift with the current hitting anything in their path. It was a nightmare. I'm gonna be pc and not say anything more. I'll direct any future discussion regarding water rod's to the hot boat thread about B&H boats, pretty much sum's it up there.

Oh yeah and the No Wake Zone is in effect. We saw them putting up bouys on our way to topock for breakfast. The wild life guys waved us through but then on our way back down it was in effect and they were slowing people down.
Only takes 10-15 minutes to go through there.  :rolleyes

Yeah we were in Copper on Friday, it was pretty packed, that's where we saw this BIG Advantage Party Cat (Maybe 35ft) suck up the anchor chain into his prop. Made a really awful sound and then killed the motor. Everyone in Copper made an "Ohhhhh" sound. I bet he felt like such an ass. LOL!
Lucky he didn't kill his kid though, cuz his kid was standing on the swim step pulling in the anchor and the dad put the boat in gear and it ripped the anchor right out of the kid's hands. What an idiot. Then he floated into two other boats who helped him untangle the line and chain from his prop. Dummy...
It was pretty croweded everywhere, yesterday was a nice change! No crowds! Gotta love weekday boating.
