Like the Sticky above says, Charlaine is working with Team in Training to raise money
for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.

She just sent this out and I thought I would post it here in case some of the San Diego / Southern Cal
peeps want to come on out and help her reach her goal.

==========================
To help raise money we are hosting a Casino night on September 14th at the On Broadway Event Center.

It will start at 6pm with gaming tables, a jazz band, great food and plenty of drinks. Your $50 donation will give you
funny money to play with and plenty of opportunities to win prizes.

Here is the link to the website, http://www.bettingonacure.com When buying the tickets,
just put in under TNT participant, Charlaine Caley so that I get credit for your participation.

If you can’t make the event but would still like to help with my fundraising,
you can also find out more information about what I’m doing at http://ccaley.pledgepage.org

This event was SO MUCH FUN last year and is bound to be
even better this year. Bring your friends and dates

So come and join us and your first drink is on me

Charlaine

Sorry TPC.  I never saw your reply. The locations and everything else was on the links in the first post.

The night was awesome, it would have been perfect for a get together.   :grouphug   I'll be honest and say it was way above and beyond what I expected from a Fund Raiser.  It was more like a night at an exclusive night club with a easier going more open atsmophere.

The club was awesome the food great and tons of it.   Drinks were over priced but I was figuring they would be with a big percentage of the take going to the Charity.  30 bucks for a double Crown and a glass of wine.   http://www.obec.tv/past_djs.htm  I couldn't believe the talent in the place either.   :eek  :good  Many a single or not so single guys/gals had a field day there. You could feel it in the air.

The silent auctions were awesome, lots of stuff for all income brackets with a live auction at the end.  One was a chance to attend the speakers tour, Rudi Gulliani (sp), Ann Coulter, etc...  $3500 pool table that went for 1800 bucks and much more.  For the ladies, they had a Bachelor auction.  The night was finished off with a raffle.  We didn't stick around for the bachelor auction but judging by the ratio of women to men, it was bound to be good.

Charlaine is enjoying the walking and team aspect so much that she plans to participate in several of the upcoming Marathons.  We might even fly to Nashville, Tennessee for one.

Anyway, if they do another night like last night, all I gotta say is it's not an event to miss.   Sadly, I think its once a year.

Does she know Tina Parker?  My very good friend (damm near family) Tina runs in these.  She's done the Hawaii one twice.  She and her husband own RockBuggySupply.com that Jeff always mentions.
