ok... so, someone showed me some Havasu pics... and i see some drunk looking teens with pistols, at night, shooting "who knows what"...? (cans i hope)
i know when i lived in Vegas in 88' it was legal to "target shoot" if you were xx-so far off the main roads...
is that the same for the river area? (shouldnt be in the "natiol parks/rec area")... and if so, has anyone had any "problems" or visitor issues (or been "confronted") while camping on the river?

I travel in my RV with a 9mm in a quick access lock box. In the past the courts have ruled that the inside of a tent or RV etc is a "home". I would never take my pistol out in my campsite (or the front yard of my home) in Ca, unless there was an imediate danger of arson or the death or great bodily harm to me or one of my loved ones, because those are basically the only times it is leagal to possess a loaded firearm there without a CCW.

Yep. Besides, if it stays secured and on the boat, the only way anyone should ever know it's there, is if you have to use it to save a life. At that point everything else is pretty much moot.
"gun control" is the ability to hit your target... and damnit... i cant take my AR15 to california... but thats ok.... i can leave it with dads arsonal.
dont outlaw guns till you take all the guns from the outlaws... and your still not getting mine.
