You need to call some flatbed trucking companies that handle LTL(less than truckload) freight. You'll get a better deal with a flatbed carrier that runs between these two states than a tarrifed freight carrier such as Central, Yellow, Conway, etc.. I have an LTL co., but it would cost a bit more than the U-Haul to get them here. We don't run much to Ill. The rate is based on mileage(both deadhead and loaded)/weight/deckspace(% of full trailer).

| Quote (LVZFYR @ Nov. 20 2006,12:27 pm) | | Thanks OBGYNKenobi<-like the name.. Do you have any names of these co.'s. to get four of them I will need 40ft of floor space 55" wide. How about missouri? do you guys go there? |
You definitely do not need that much space. You'll pay truckload rate. If the are crated, they can stack. If uncrated, they can be turned sideways, which uses only about 18 1/2 feet of deck space. We do run there, but usually do not backhaul out to the west coast. I'll get you some names of co's that can help. We do mostly military loads, so we go to where the bases are. Where abouts in Mo. would these be coming from, and when?
