With Xmas right around the corner, some people rely on gift cards for last minute shopping...but beware...
Crooks are now jotting down the card numbers in the store, not purchasing them, waiting a few days before they call the company and ask how much the balance they have on their card.
Once they find a card has been activated they can go online and start shopping. It is suggested that if you want to purchase Gift Cards that you obtain them at the Customer
Service Desk were the public has not had access to the cards.
