It's been raining all day here in the cold and dreary tundra that is the midwest. And it's only going to get worse. We've been benefiting all winter from the effects of El Nino/global warming...save a rather large snowstorm at the beginning of December. Well, tomorrow it all changes.
We're expecting 2-3 inches of ice to freeze up overnight and ice and snow storms through Monday, and then bitter cold temps, with the windchill, well below zero, through the end of next week.
Winter bites the big one 
Be sure to rollout the welcome mat in AZ...I just may be there sooner than expected

Yep, "sunny So. Cal".....78 degrees yesterday and I was in shorts, and this is what we woke up to this morning at 24 degrees! They're calling for wind chill temps to get as low as -24 locally tonight! Holy Crap!!!

Here in Gilbert @ 3:30 they say it's 48* with a wind chill temp of 41*. I just came in from changing the oil in my truck. drove it around about 5 miles to warm it up before hand. From the time I turned it off and crawled under it was about 3 minutes. The exhaust was only warm to the touch. If I didn't have to do it I would have put it off.

I'm in Highland. Right next door to San Bernardino, and about 20 minutes east of Shue. He even got snow in his city. So did Riverside and Fontana.
Yesterday, went were in the heated pool and the spa, and in the morning it looked like this....... As you can see, my wife doesn't know what year she is living in! That's ok, when we got back home from Parker for Christmas, she reset our clocks to Az time that her watch was set to....she thought ours were set wrong!  Â
