I've heard a few stories from time to time about some of the old greats of the game falling on hard times, but I had no idea it was this bad.
The guys that made the game great suffered as a result of injuries from playing the game and many died broke. Here's the story: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl....pe=lgns
I'm going to be logging on to www.jerrykramer.com in the morning to take a shot at a hand drawn Vince Lombardi play.
It makes me sick to know that focktards like T.O. will retire in splendor when great ball players from "the day" are barely getting by.
It's a fact of Life:
After Monday and Tuesday, even the Calendar says : WTF .......

Its a shame that the players that bred the sport for the love of the game do not reap any rewards from the current NFL. They played their hearts out for our entertainment. . Now we have idiots like T.O. making more $ in one game than these Hall of Famers made in their whole carreer.
Ain't life Grand? Treat it that way. The Love of my Life, Jan.

I know the feeling. Walking is getting harder and harder for me. I distroyed my joints with sports injuries for free. One of my knees (both are distroyed) was perminantly injured on the job. I haven't got a dime for it yet (just medical care and paid time off) but you best believe I will look into it before I retire.
