Google images may be a little outdated. When I google my house it shows my pool under construction and we have been using it for two years.

There are a whole bunch of hidden areas in that area. One of our favorites has a hidden entrance that can be six to twelve inches deep, so we just float in....and it opens up after a few switchbacks to a nice deep pool. :D

It's a fact of Life:

After Monday and Tuesday, even the Calendar says : WTF .......

I've wondered the same thing but don't have a jet anymore and I is skeered to try it with my I/O.
I never can detect an entrance on the Cali side accross from sandbar at the elbow, always looks overgrown. I've seen a few boats go back behind the sandbar tho.
In either case it seems its mostly grown over and/or too shallow for most.
I crack up when I see a kayak emerge from the reeds randomly. :laugh

I have always wondered what was back there next trip out i am going to investigate i.e.swim back there cause props are to much money to bend. have hit my i/o once that was enough.

There are a couple of boats that made it way back in there :good on the Cali side on North End. There is some map website that gives Lat's and Lon's where your pointing your cursor. That might help find a way in.

I have taken the fishen boat to some of those areas. The fishing is pretty good where the water drops off into pools.

That's funny :laugh I remember a friend once had an I/O and we went into some cove and it was so shallow that the bottom touch ground once in a while, had one ear out of the water but it was enough to get around!.. :laugh

Question....

when your going to the sand bar... do you launch from the north and go south or the south and go north..?

Just to give me an idea of where most people like to launch...
ramp conditions...
especially like to hear from the deeper longer boats, but any info helps...

Most peeps launch on Havasu, Windsor launch ramp, and head north.  It can be a lil shallow where the river dumps into the lake...just follow someone of similiar size.... :good

Or, as they say, "Trim it High and Let It Fly".... :D

well, in the rivers in Alaska... the deeper water had no rapids... so i'd stay out of the lighter/rougher stuff...
where the darker flatter water was usually the channel.

who knows....
so, if you come from the north... you'd hit the copper canyon or whatever it is first woundnt you? and further down to the sand bar...
and isnt it all deep, just narrow from the north...?
i guess i'll have to follow people too...  run it with the GPS and store it and then run it at speed.
