Today is my last day at work. I thought I'd be more sad than I am. Don't get me wrong, I've been up and down the past week about how I'm feeling about relocating...anxious, nervous, excited, sad...but I'm ready. One week from tonight, Sleek and I will be driving into Tucson, my new home. Can you hardly stand it!

At least there is one positive for the relocate. You can leave your snow shovel there since it will be usless in Tucson. Unless you may think it might me a good attention getter for Sleek.

It's good to be a boss. They decorated my office, they got me "good-bye" presents and at our 3:30 all-staff meeting they're having a party for me 
But it's getting hard. All the staff has been soo sweet and telling me how much they'll miss me and what a great job I did. And our Developmental Trainer made me cry when she told me how much she appreciates what I did for our developmental training program (low low functioning adults) and how much I helped our clients. I went out and said goodbye to my favorites. It was especially hard to say goodbye to one, who is the whole reason Sleek and I are dating and why I'm moving. ohh...the weekend is only going to get tougher saying goodbye to friends and packing up my house 
And the car is running great...we'll see how that one goes

At least you are leaving on a good note. After hearing about your last few crazy weeks, I'm sure they are sad to see you go. It's hard to find good leadership. Hopefully the stars will align as will our schedules and we can meet up at the river. You can bring the dog, but leave Sleek at home
. . . alright, he can come, too.

Everybody I work with was very sweet at my party, saying very very nice things about me. It feels really nice knowing that I made a difference while I was there, even if some days it felt like I was running in circles. I have to say, that I worked for an incredible organization that did wonderful things for adults with disabilities. I wish them the best of luck
But it's time to move on. I'm very excited about my move and hope that Sleek and I...okay just me...can find time to meet up with everybody. I look forward to having that opportunity to finally meet some people!

ummm....should be a "cozy" car ride. thank goodness we opted for a POD. Can you imagine me and aaron in a uhaul with the dog draggin the 626 halfway across the country

How does she ride in the car? Her dad drives me crazy, up down, up down up down. Dixie . . . you'll forget she's there. Seriously. She lays down and doesn't move and sleeps the whole way. Just wondering how the offspring turned out.

Well I'm kinda mad at you, Do have room in the car for me, I'm clean and pottie trained, I'll even ride on the roof, oh well,Now I have to find someone else to take my snow shovel off my hands, LOL Be safe and have a safe ride out to the land of sun, Oh and if you see something on the side of the road, stop and look, don't say, I'll see it the next time I come thur, cuz it never happens.
