I think That CE has the right Idea, :good   Get rid of them all.....I have to deal  with these guy's constantly at work and all they do is sit around and find ways to F*&k with people. They go so overboard with the things they do it is not even funny..... When I was in Virginia we had A small oil spill that was no more than 5 to 6 gallons that went into the Potomac River (The dirtiest river in the USA) and they charged us $50,000 to clean it up and we did all the work. Then the fine was another $10,000.....So this is what I say too them!!!!

I think the enviro-huggers get a pass on this one... it was the unscroupulous shipping companies.  

The EPA wanted to regulate the discharge water from the ships (makes sense, especially with all the invasive species showing up here these day), the shipping companies sued the EPA saying that if they have to do it, everyone has to do it... and the court agreed.

So what'll happen now is that that decision will get overturned, or legislation will be passed delaying the law from being enacted, essientially for eternity, and we'll go back to the way things were done before.

I also hope that you are right. But I will not give the EPA a pass on anything they do, Because every thing they do is to the extreme, There Regulations,There Fines and permits. All that it boils down to is money. Think about it, How many people own small boats that use them 3 or 4 weekends out of the year and the Permit is $800.00 a year. That is as bad as tripling your Vehicle registration. There is no way that you can tell me that it is not about money.

Allow me to back track a skosh... (I was thinking of a different lawsuit)... The EPA was sued by an environmental group because of the introduction of invasive aquatic species due to balast water.

So, yeah, the greenies are the ones that brought the law suit.
