So I go to pick up my keys to the classroom today and drop some boxes off.  When I pull up to the room, I notice the window has a board over it.  Immediately, I know what will be missing.  At best, the overhead LCD projector, at worst, all of the computers (the reason I saved all my files on disc before I left in June).  So I go to the secretary, get my keys and open my door.  Sure enough, there is a bunch of cut wires hanging down from the ceiling and no projector.  Thankfully, though, all of the computers are still there.  I'm supposed to have a new projector before school starts on Wed.  I'm not holding my breath and working on a backup plan for my 1st day activities.  

On a good note. . . I got all new carpet  :good  Oh, and they caught the guys.   :jumpie The secretary said the LCD projectors are a hot item because of home theater systems.

That sucks! :angry  Too bad they wont cut the hands off of the thieves like they do in the Middle East. That would be a definite deterrent to them ever doing it again.

Yeah; that does kinda suck! Doesn't suck at all that they got caught! I'm sure that you've said it somewhere, but where do you teach? Just curious.
