The boy is done physicly. I think he will get the record and finish the season out then call it quits. I have to agree with Shue,  Roids or not, It's not easy hitting a 90mph ball over the wall like he does.

I don't care much either.  Drugs and baseball have gone hand-in-hand for a long time.  I mean they used to have bowls full of amphetamines and/or coffee laced w/the stuff for as long as I can remember.  So if you put an asterik (sp) next to his record then I'm sure there are many more that deserve them too.

I played sports with my pure skill and no advantage other than my prowess to do well.
How fair is it to the guy who holds records for his pure play vs a guy that allegedly has juiced up??....pretty telling what that guy thinks when been quoted him saying he won't want or try to attend the possible game where his record might be broken.(I have met and talked with HA as he was a BMW dealer also, very humble man)
Does anyone ever talk about Big Mac anymore? Not worthy yet he broke a milestone. Even Sosa's image tainted because of cheating.
Pure players are remembered. The latest 2 Hall inductees were some of the last pure players, why else do you think they were voted in so quickly over others? They studied and perfected what they loved, the sport!
