Looks like the city council did it, they voted in a Booze Ban for San Diego Beaches. They decided it should be a trial period of 1 year, then they will revisit I am assuming. THAT SUCKS ! No more sitting on the beach watching the sunset with an umbrella drink. I wonder if I can float out a few yards on a surfboard and have a beer?

Remember Booze does not cause problems, the people who drink do. I suppose this is to cut down on the riff raff that frequents the beaches and cause problems. Some truth to it, same old story, a few bad apples ruin it for everyone else. I think HD has the ticket, 7-11 Extreme Gulp cups with Rum and Coke!

Were they having alcohol related problems on the beach?? Â
Yeah, earlier this year they had a huge beach brawl, almost riot worthy........Ego's + Beer = tough guys . they've talked about banning booze on the beach for quite some time but that brawl made it easy for them to get it done.
