Stangpede’s Live Mustang Dream Build will be featured in Fast and the Furious 4!

Mustang enthusiasts and Film fanatics won’t want to miss the live action taking place at the San Diego International Auto Show on Saturday, December 29th from noon-6pm. Stangpede, one of the hottest Mustang car clubs in the nation, will join forces with the industry's leading companies to customize a 2008 Mustang GT Coupe into a full-blown show car. Watch as Stangpede takes on their toughest task yet: building a Mustang that will be featured in the Fast and the Furious 4.
Attendees can watch as this factory stock Mustang is completely disassembled and fabricated into the ultimate stang within 6 hours.  Some modifications include a sleek Blow-By Racing body kit, a powerful SALEEN 302 engine with supercharger, MAC Performance exhaust system, TruFiber hood, the stylish Classic Design Concepts Glassback Roof, and much more. Stay tuned to see which Kustom Shop color they will use on this beauty! My car will be 1 of 12 extremely modified Mustangs in the Stangpede booth during the week of the San Diego Auto Show, and is also going to be in the Fast and Furious 4 movie. At least it's going to be filmed in it, but may end up on the cutting room floor! With the crappy luck I've been having lately, they'll probably wreck it! :banghead The show runs from 12/26/07 through 12/30/07 at the San Diego Convention Center.

If any gearheads are planning on attending the show next week, be sure and visit the Auto Show Ultimate Ridez Expo on the 2nd floor to see some really tricked out rides and see our dream build on the 29th. Stangpede is showing 14 cars, so we met up yesterday morning at Hardcore Mustangs in Santee to roll in to the San Diego International Auto Show. The show will run from December 26th - 30th at the San Diego Convention Center. For more information on the Auto Show check out http://www.sdautoshow.com/

Here are some pictures of our Mustangs that will be at the show, along with a $660,000 all carbon fiber, 1000hp 7.0L twin turbo, 250mph Saleen S7 Supercar. There aren't any pictures of the Dream Build Mustang, we wouldn't want to spoil the show and give away it's color!

The build went great! We did repaint the car from Silver to Candy Apple Red(can't do in 6 hours) and we did install the CDC Glassback roof before hand, due to the S.D. Fire Marshall's rules with the use of certain chemicals. We completed the build in 6 hours 7 minutes, and it included polished cam covers, polished front engine cover, Saleen Extreme 550 hp S/C, Saleen suspension with Watts Link rear suspension, Saleen S7 seats($4K ea.!;), complete new interior, body kit, Lambo doors from Vertical Doors :puke , Saleen 15" brake kit, new gears, headers, H-pipe exhaust with side exits, 20" rims, Saleen center dash guage pod and guages, custom Diablo Sport tune, and a whole bunch more. There was a pretty decent celeb. attendance with Tony Tarantino(Quinton's dad), Quinton Tarantino, Eric Roberts(Julia Roberts martial arts master brother, who's done over 200 movies), Bill Goldberg, Christopher Atkins(Blue Lagoon), and a few more who I can't remember. Here's a couple pics of the car we built, and two are with a sweet model, Sarah, that was with us and did a little modeling with my car. The rest are of my car...........if you look really hard, you do see my car, right?:love  :good  :laugh   I have 457 pics, but am having an issue with transferring them from my laptop to my pc. :banghead  :angry
