Rant, of sorts.... :laugh

So I'm tryin' to get my father-in-law an Army Constabulary Patch from his service days during WWII....hard to find in Google, etc.  Place on eBay has a couple, on bid of course, and no Buy It Now.

The've been sitting there for DAYS at $.99....kewl.  Got a coupa hours to go.  I bid $1.25...BAMM out-bid....bid again...BAMM again... :pissed

Fock eBay auto bidders... :angry   I don't have time to play games, I just want to order the damm patch for him... :beat

I email'd the seller....prolly won't here nutin'....

eBay envy, I guess...just don't get how it works... :confused

I haven't bought anything on ebay in quite awhile.  But can't you just set the max that you're willing to bid and it will bid up to that point?

I feel your pain Gary, sometimes I think I could bid on a bag of dog poop, and someone would outbid me at the last minute, not cause they wanted it though, just so they could outbid me.......... :guns   :pissed

I have used a watch and "sniped" several items, but it takes a time commitment to do that......too much work!!

Hey Shue, The sellers that are selling the patches do you know if they have a EBay store? If so take a look at the as sometimes they have the same item for buy it now that they don't put on the listings.
I have found some things this way and have even got them cheaper than bidding on them!

Injected is nice, But I'd rather be Blown

If somebody bids 6 bucks and you bid up .25 a time it will do that untill you pass their max bid. :)  Bid your max price your willing to pay and it will only go up to a winning price not your max bid unless someone bids it up that high. :comp
