So, I just got on the freeway yesterday after lunch, riding the bike, got up to 88 MPH (time machine speed you know) and all the sudden SPLAT x 100, :eek  I ran right thru a swarm of bees.  Glad I had the face shield down.  Front of helmet and bike, shoulders on jacket, brake and clutch lever are covered with bee goo.

A couple of years ago we hit a swarm on short final at Tucson International......Totally obscured the windshield and it sounded like hail for about 3 seconds!

After we pulled up to the gate and did the walk-around there was bee goo dripping from everywhere... :eek

Glad you kept it upright!!!   :good

What a mess!

Last summer a friend of mine was on a Harley trip thru Utah and AZ and a wasp flew into her shirt and stung her boobs 6 times. :eek  :eek  :eek   Not much she could do about it while going 65mph...poor thing.

But at least now we know who's responsible for colony collapse disorder...right malibuken? :laugh

Glad to hear that it didn't hurt.  I've hit alot of bees this year, too.  I took one right under the nose at about 30 mph this AM.  And that hurt, I can't imagine what it would feel like at time travel speeds!  :banghead  They only seem to hit me in the head though, do you think they might be attracted to my helmet?
