Hi
Was watching Party Heat last night and they were patrolling an event at Havasu called 'Shake the Lake'. The lake is packed with rafts, tubes, and anything that will float, from Sandbar to Copper Canyon.

Guessing this is a yearly event,,, when is it held? I tried googleing but didn't find anything. Actually got hits for events in other parts of the country.

The tube float was in Parker not Havasu, they kept going back and fort with shots of Havasu and Parker

hmmm.  Today I did see the post here about the tube float in Parker. On the show, they specifically said the floaters reach from sandbar to copper canyon.

Are you saying I can't believe everything I see on the tele?  :say?


Looks like a great time. It reminded me of when my friends and I were young, dumb, and boatless. We would hitch up river at Parker, jump in with innertubes, and float back down river.  :good
I stay away from Parker these days, but that tube weekend looks like fun.

If they had a tube float in havasu they would need someone to pull them as there is no currrent to move all the drunks along  :drink

I was watchig that too. At one point when they were patroling the float. You can see the Blue Water Casino in the background.  I also recognized several homes and docks that are along the river. Then boys were bouncing back and forth between the Parker strip and Havasu all through the show.

Parker strip is South of Parker dam. Only way between the 2 is putting the boat on the trailer.
