Pulled in to the Avi Lagoon the other day. The boys say they're gonna go sign up for player cards cuz if they do, they can each get a 6 pack of Bud for free.....I didn't have the heart to tell them it was only an 8 ouncer.  :rotflmao  shoulda seen the look on their faces.  :eek

OK, just back from my investigative ice cream shopping....

The premium brands are 1.5 qts, like you say.... the store brand (I was at Albertsons) is at 1.75 qt, but it isn't as tasty.

This particular store had gallon buckets of Breyers which worked out to be the best deal regardless if the 1.5 qt Breyers was on sale! :jumpie

6.4 cents per oz in the gal. 8.2 cents in the psuedo half gallon which was on sale for $3.99.

So, now I got a whole gallon on hand!!  :good  :D

that ought to last til the weekend! :laugh

After Monday and Tuesday, even the Calendar says : WTF .......

I can't remember the last time I bought ice cream. I make my own, always.  :good  Someday I'll figure out which flavor is my favorite.

non-fat ice cream SUCKS!  Nothin beats the home-made stuff, and chocolate is definately my favorite.  I don't know why I don't make it more often, I only get around to it like once a year...I need to work on that.
