hey all my 5th annual Unity run is this weekend
it's my annual car show to benifit the local Domestic Abuse shelter, last year we were able to Donate $2k from the show.

Here's the Scoop
Show starts 11am at the South end of LaPaz county Park (on the river) or 10am at Sara Park in Havasu if you wish to (power tour) with 100 or so other Hot Rods, Boat Cop Escorts the Parade around the lake.

This will be filmed for TV (ch23 Hot Air TV) production DVD's will be ready in about 3wks

Lunch is servred 12:30ish ($10 a plate) or free with registration

we have a continous raffel running through the whole show, with soooooooo...much stuff to give away LOTS!!!! of Girl/Woman stuff too, even a 20" LCD TV

we will have a Top Fuel dragster (yes they are going to light it off. :love

It Wouldn't have To Be On The Lot/Area, It Just Needs To Parked Someplace Nearby....Where It Can Be Seen By The people Going To "The Big Show"!!.....

Our show went off fairly well
84 total cars......we avg. 90 so we were down a few cars from last year.  :(

but all in all a good show, with a good BBQ Lunch, and some real killer cars showed up this year, we may be a small show but we sure attract some real quality cars.

we had one Harley show up (the guys first ever show of any kind) and we had no bike class, but we did have a "Best Flames" Trophy and his bicke was all orange with ghost flames though out....I counted the votes and all but three votes were for him :good  kinda shows you the sprit of the show and the people attending :D

initial numbers look real good, about $3600 - $1400 or so to put on the show so we should be at least able to match if not beat last years $2k donation :jumpie

That's true, but then again at a show like that the majority is not boat orientated, doubt it would be worth the cost to haul it out there!.. Maybe I'll take it with me to the Enduro in a couple of weeks though, we'll see!..
