Then this downer in the story
Last month's rain helped build the Sierra snowpack but it may be too little, too late. Water content in the state's main snowpacks has bumped up to 80% of normal for this time of year. Â
Frank Gehrke with the State's department of water resources says it's not enough to pull California out of a three-year drought.
I guess he's a 'The glass (California) is half empty' kind-a guy.
