Had a good trip. Truck ran good. Only thing that came up is there is a rattle in the dash right around the radio area. Sounds like a loose small bolt and washer. I will wait a couple weeks to see if anything ells shows up and have it all taken car of at once.

I have been doing admin work but not on the server itself. Then to keep my ticket numbers up Told my boss they are going to take a hit over training on this program take over

As for the new truck. Been looking at something to help protect the paint. Ceramic seems to be the gig now. BUT what's good, bad, won't cost an arm and leg, how often does it need to be reapplied, how hard is it to apply. Seems to be quite a few out there and a battle to what is good and not so good.

Wow, hope there's a raise coming along with all this new responsibility.

Really not sure. Seems to be a spray on in most cases that has a silica or something in it. Depending on what you get seems to be how long it lasts and how many applications. Some even claim you can use it on anything and everything including boats.

Taking the car to Tucson Saturday night to get more testing in. Got the new gears in and a new drive shaft. Made just a little more adjustment to the 4 link as well. By the videos and pictures need to up the air pressure in the slicks. They are trying to ball up. He went to Wild Horse the weekend we were in Payson. Track prep SUCKED and couldn't really get any good info. We know Tucson will be prepped to get what we need to see and know.

From what I understand is the track is being leased from the Indians now. Whoever is running it has raised prices and all the crew we knew has been replaced. For quite a while it has been not bad. Now it's not good at all.

Yeah that sucks, I believe it it was leased since the name change and I'm sure they have all new people without experience or don't give a $hit, is Bondurant still there??, they used the track for their straightaway and that used to mess it up big time

Took the car to Tucson and got more good data. We know the car likes 9.5 PSI in the slicks. Their not trying to ball up and it's where the numbers were the best all the way down the track. 60ft and 300ft info is down, 1/4 mile ET is down about 2 tenths from before all the work was done. To be expected. Way the car is acting we are thinking the carb needs to drop a couple jet sizes since it's not running the RPM it used to. Gets to about 900ft and it's like it wakes up. Need to pull just a little adjustment back out of the rear end. Now it wants to go slightly right. No racing until September so we got time to get a couple things done.
OH and we think the water pump is heading out the door. Didn't want to cool down real well and it seems to be drawing more power than it should.

Well, at least it's getting down the track, always tuning to do when you make changes, taking some gear out puts more load on the motor, is the ignition locked out or have a curve?, if you rum a curve you may need to change that a bit too, with more load the torque curve may need to be changed??
