Well, not gonna get wet this weekend, have to rebuild the water pump so had to order bearings and seals so that's a week to get those, this shipping crap sucks big time anymore, you could order something two blocks away it takes a week.

I think I'm going to order up a kit to rebuild the old alternator from the boat and have it on hand just in case. I'm going to look today to see what my options are for an actuator and decide on one. Still need to bleed the brakes, should get me through the season then figure out how I'm going to go about getting a new actuator mounted.

I think I'm going to try to cut the old one off. It's welded on. If not I will strip it down as far as I can and take it to have someone duplicate the tongue. I can mount the new actuator. I'm looking at the UFP A-60 at this point. What I have now is 6000#, the A-60 for disc is rated at 7500#. Hopefully that should work. Also looking at the pivot bolt and it has a nylock nut, but the threads don't go all the way through the nut. Threads just barley get into the nylon of the nut. I'll be finding a longer grade 8 bolt.

I think that's what I got on mine and it don't work either, I just put a bolt in where the backup pin goes to stop it from slamming back and forth, master cylinder is empty so I'll look for leaks, my buddy never bothered with it because it never went anywhere, just in the park from his trailer to the ramp and back.

Master is empty?? Thats not good. But as far as you go may not matter. Looking at the pic's I can't tell what the actuator is. If it's dry who knows where it's leaking.

Yeah, I'd have to fill it and bleed it then watch for leaks, but I was thinking the same thing, I'm 30 seconds from the ramp here or 15-20 minutes if I go up river, don't really think brakes would make much difference at the speeds around here, may just eliminate the system and just mount it solid.

Yep, more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards mounting it solid. Weather should be ok this weekend, at least here it should anyhow, maybe drop mine in on Saturday.

Gat a couple things to get done this weekend. Mow the yard. I can hear that crap growing. Get the brakes bled. Should give the Colorado a quick bath. It's looking bad. HD needs it too

Cool. Good luck with that.
Went out to bleed the brakes and found the reservoir down on fluid. Pulled the wheels off and got nothing but air. The cup on my bleeder got to 3/4 and still nothing but air. I refilled the master several times. Not sure if I'm pulling air from the master or if I have a line issue. I'm not seeing any where there could be a leak. Brake line runs through the trailer rail then pokes out between the axles. So who knows. I'm going to try one more thing and see what happens. That will hopefully happen in the morning. Humidity is killer today.

Well, took the boat out yesterday and it ran pretty good no issues, put about 10 miles on it but it was real rough and it was starting to bother the wife's back so we called it quits, she's not a 100% healed up yet so we'll probably take it out next Friday, gotta change the carb though, one on there is a double pumper and they don't work too good on a dual plane intake just guzzles fuel.
Master could be leaking internally and bleeding back that's why you're not getting any fluid to the wheels??

Cool!! Glad to hear everything went good. River was prolly busy with fools on a Saturday.
I thought about that on the master cylinder. I also think that the bleed screw could have been a culprit. I had her work the master while I worked the bleeder. Didn't get any air on either side. I'm going to let that ride for now.

Actually it wasn't that crowded just type of vessels out there, lake lice and roll bar POS boats destroy the water completely, don't mind it choppy but rollers like tidal waves suck big time.

Lake Pleasant around the 10 lane ramp lake Lice are thick as well. Â They just go bouncing out of Scorpion Bay like they are the only ones on the water. Â Â

Been looking at wheels for the Colorado. The ones from the Canyon are REAL expensive and hard to come by. So I'm looking at Raceline's Addict. Might go 18x9 with a 265/60-18. I have now 17's with 265/65-17. Haven't made up my mind yet but really leaning toward the Raceline's.

Everything is pricey anymore. They only make them in a 16" , 18" & 20". Everything I have looked at that looks decent are all about the same price. Finding wheels that look good without the bead lock look is tough.

Got the back yard mowed this morning. Filled the trash can up with just grass it was so out of control. Not sure what els I will get done today due to the humidity being up.
