I have a Mexican Bird of Paradise out front that needs to go also. Sucker has doubled in size with all this rain. It's right where I want to put a gate to the back yard.

Actually we have bulk pickup next week so I'm trying to take advantage of that as much as I can. I have stuff in the trailer that I'm going to put out to save the trip to the dump if I can.

Tor up the oleanders out front that were out of control. There were three that were dead. I pulled two out a couple weeks ago. Got the last one out today.  Was able to pull several of the dead ones in the backyard before I ran out of steam. I have a nice pile going for pick up.  :good

:laugh   No Kidding.  Mowed the front and back yard again on Sunday.  2/3 filled a 45gal trash bag. Got 2 more of the dead oleanders out but the rest are stuck pretty good.  Need to figure out a way to encourage them out of the ground.  I have about 6 of the dead ones in the back yet to get out that are fighting back.

Probably have to soak it down pretty good to soften up the ground, hopefully they're not too far down. :rolleyes

Being in the planter I have a feeling the roots are under the retaining walls. Not just a soak but digging and root cutting to get them out. Should be fun since room is limited.

Or dig what I can and cut the roots off. Hopefully enough to yank them out with out ripping anything ells out.  Be my luck I would have the fire department here if I burn them out. I could just cut them down as far as I can and bury them in good clean dirt.

They have been dead for three Years. Kept feeding them ground clear until they stopped sprouting leaves. Then hit them a few more times to make sure they wouldn't come back.

Well, in that case they shouldn't be too hard to get out, at least most of it anyways.

Looks like all the rage is this Ceramic that seems like it's a silicon. What I can figure if it's a spray it aint worth a crap. Still researching the car washes if they are worth a crap. Haven't seen anything as in a  paste or liquid form if they are good or not. will wait for it to cool off to do anything.

We are probably done with boating this year. She has surgery tomorrow and mine is the 28th. Looks like we are taking the car to Tucson next weekend and the following I will be getting the yard and anything else taken care of before my surgery.
