Looks like all the rage is this Ceramic that seems like it's a silicon. What I can figure if it's a spray it aint worth a crap. Still researching the car washes if they are worth a crap. Haven't seen anything as in a  paste or liquid form if they are good or not. will wait for it to cool off to do anything.
Google
"Ceramic Paint Coating"

We are probably done with boating this year. She has surgery tomorrow and mine is the 28th. Looks like we are taking the car to Tucson next weekend and the following I will be getting the yard and anything else taken care of before my surgery.

Yeah, that would put a damper on boating, be taking mine out in two weeks, friends of ours are coming out to Echo for a few days, so I'll get some time on it, probably the last for the year too, it needs to come apart and gone over anyhow, too many little things going wrong from sitting and lack of maintenance.

Mowed and cleaned up the yard over the weekend. Sprayed the weeds and fed a couple ain't hills. Watered front and back and the tree's out back. In two weeks I will hit the grass again and hope it stays in line until I can hit it again. Probably stop watering next week.

What a weekend!!! had fun and got a little rest . Funny's and Altereds were fun to watch and hear. As for the Vega, Well it wasn't real good. Got to the track Friday evening and unloaded the car about 10 on Saturday morning. Unloaded everything we were going to use. Fire the car off an he ran it around the pits to warm it up and check a couple little things. Went to tech the car about 3pm and it was dead as a door knob. Track to go hot at 4. Batteries went to crap. Sent his mom off to get batteries while we checked a few other things and dryed the car off. The rain bought us some time since the track needed to dryed so the track didn't get started until about 4:45. Got the batteries in and teched just before we were called. OH!! We were pulling the batteries while it was raining. Backed some adjustment out of it from last trip that should have stopped it going right. No go. Made three passes and as the night went on it got worse before it was decided it wasn't safe. We are now thinking the car isn't squared up.(long story) So he has a plan to find center and square things up. All in all it was a good weekend..

Well that was a bummer, but $hit happens Find out what killed the batteries? How did the car get out of square, didn't hit anything I hope? But nobody got hurt so it had to be a good weekend.

Batteries were 3 years old. They get beat up in that environment. Sounds like the original owner at some point backed it into the wall out at speedworld. How hard I don't know. But obviously hard enough to knock things out of wack.

Yeah, 3yrs can do a number on them, don't take much to knock it out of whack, just a tap just the right way will do it, hopefully a slight adjustment will do it and nothing got bent.

yep, On Tuesday afternoon. Can't wait to be able see things more clear.
Buddy took the car over to another friends shop and did some measuring. Rea rend was 1 inch out of square. So they got that straightened out and decided to move the pinion from 1 degree to 4 and dropped the bottom bars a hole. Next outing is October 9th I believe. I may not be able to go due to recovering. I sure hope this all makes the car go straight.
