Oh he!! no I'm not cutting the insurance any slack. This thing needs to tbe back to what t was before the accident. Body shop has the quote and ordering parts. He want to make sure he has all the parts before he starts working on it so it's not sitting and waiting for who know how long.

Heading to Tucson the 29th to run the car for the Hangovers. Car now has all new shocks and springs. Fronts were quite wore out. Also ended up having to replace the lower control arm bushings. One side had worked itself about 3/4 out and Both sides was showing age and wear. Once done he had the car scaled. Right rear was out about 100lbs light. Now that it's squared up it should be a player again and not want to head right.

Had our Christmas with the kids Sunday. Had a lot of fun watching a 1 year old rip open her stuff. Nice being able to get them all together in one spot since they are all not far now. Will do Christmas with my folks and family this weekend. Still have to get through this week then its 10 days off.

Of course work is kicking my a$$ this week. Then I find out my coworker forgot he had planed and was approved to have today and tomorrow off. If all goes right, I should be able to stay home friday and work. I hope I don't have t run anywhere. Then it's off for 10 days.
Talked to the Body shop and the Colorado will go into the shop Jan 3rd. Insurance has only got me a rental for 4 days. So I need to get that squared away so I'm not wearing out my Sketchers.

I called the rental company and they don't have an end date. SO that should be good. They couldn't tell me what I'm getting, but I did tell them I need a truck and not a car. We will see what they come up with.
Not sure if I will be on over the next couple days. You Folks Have a great Christmas.

Been a busy few day's, but relaxing as well. Had a great Christmas with family. Haven't got to a whole lot done outside of being with family. I did get the boat fired off and set for the colder months. Heading out in the morning to Tucson for the Hangovers. Car is loaded and ready to go. Hopefully not too much weather and the car doe's good.

Well!!! had a good time, BUT!!! Not a good weekend. With all the work that was done, The car still wants to go right. Made hit Thursday and went back to the pits and did an adjustment to add preload to the right rear. Made another hit not much better. With as much preload that was added, there should have been some improvement, but not really. Decided to drop the launch from 6000 to 5200. car was better so we left it for the day since we had some numbers to work with. Saturday decided to drop to 4800 and the car was happier but not consistent at all. We were running 1/8 mile all weekend. Best we could get Thursday was 6.20's. Friday we got mid 5.90's. First round lifting dialed a 5:94 on a 98. Other guy went 07 under his dial and gave us the win. So we redial to a 90. Car left good but only mustered a 96. We were done anyways since he activated the big red eye. . Saturday after making one hit with the change of launch, we put a 92 on the car. Ran a 94 but again activated the red eye. . Bought back in and did it again, but ran a 96. We were done.
He is getting real frustrated at what's going on. Car was going straight this time last year and out of the blue starts this crap. Everything that has been done hasn't made any kind of a dent in correcting this issue. Not really sure what he is going to do. We talked to a couple friends and they are scratching their heads. If he finds something I will let you know. I feal real bad for him with all the money and time he has put into it the last month and not any better.

Sorry to hear that, I'd be frustrated too. Sounds like something else is going on besides suspension if adjustments don't do much, is this a pipe car or stock frame???, myself I'd put the car on a lift and go over the frame inch by inch one end to the other and look for a crack or broken weld or anything, kinda sounds like the car is flexing and if that's the case that would shift the weight around, long time ago a friend had a 9:0 truck and it started doing weird things, fought it for quite a while then we started looking and sure as $hit we found a crack by the trans crossmember causing it to flex under a hit, fixed it up with extra support and truck was back to normal. So it's a possibility and wouldn't hurt to give it a once over.

Thats kind of what I'm thinking as well as we may need to go back and check the car to be squared up on top of checking everything from front to back. This is a total tube chassis car with a four link in the rear and early Mustang II front end.

And it rolls on into this week. Over the weekend I did get the Lights off the house and packed all the Christmas stuff up and put it all away. Went to Lowes and got weed killer and sprayed the yard that's out of control. This coming weekend I need to show the yard what a mower can do. Also need to rake up leaves in the back yard. Crap Never Ends.
