Didn't get home last night until about 8:30 from work. Had an off the record meeting with my coworkers and a manager from WWT off site. We have been waiting to get any kind of info on where we are on the contract renewal, that ends June 30th, for the company I work for GMI. We were told the contract did get extended for 5 years. The city has requested the current team stay in tack. WWT is going to go after GMI and move us over to WWT. (long story where WWT and GMI are related and I don't have enough space here to explain). WWT is going to fight the No Compete clause to get us over. They are hoping to get this done within 6 months after the new contract kicks in July 1. Sounds like they are willing to go to court to get this done. My current manager that's GMI wasn't at the meeting and was not invited and does not know about the meeting. That's due to he is not part of the new contract. He is useless and WWT knows it. This all came as a sigh of relief for all of us. They were telling us that health insurance is cheaper and it's looking like we will get a raise as well. Will know more over the next month or so.

Heard that the FCC is challenging the legality of Non Compete companies are using. If this gets shot down, we are in like flint to transfer to WWT. Company I'm with tried to get us sign an "updated" version a year ago. We turned it down. I would not have been able to get a job with anyone doing what I do even if they laid me off.
Finally the Colorado goes into the body shop Monday. Be nice to get that done.

I hope so. I'm having them also repair the door ding on the passenger side door. Kind of would like to have the tailgate changed to a 2020 where its flat and doesn't have Chevrolet embossed in it.

Oh I'm sure I will pay for it if I do it. I figure since they have the paint out why not get that done as well. They are going to touch up the door where the ding is.
I brain farted. This is going to be a busy weekend. Going to the folks Saturday morning to help my dad clean up the motor home. Then dinner. Sunday is easter so we will have the kids in and out.

Where Da Weekend go PooFF!!! And it's gone!!
Got the folks house car cleaned up and hung out with them for a while Saturday. By the time we got home it was getting dark and the little one was getting tired. She didn't get much of a nap. Sunday had all the kids over for Easter. That took up most the day. Got the tonneau cover off and bed rug out of the Colorado. Then cleaned out my tools and anything ells I could find of value just in case.
Took the Colorado this morning and dropped it off. Spent 2 flip'n hours at Enterprise getting a rent a wreck. Supposed to get a truck but someone dropped the ball when they setup my reservations. So I got a Camry that can't get out of it's own way. I'll drive the potty out of it. LOL I was going to swing into Octane Marine to see when they could get the boat in. Spent 3 hours just getting the truck dropped off and a rental that I had to get back to work.

Yeah, busy weekend alright, lol. Wasn't too busy here, wife had to work so i just a bunch of stuff done outside since the weather was gorgeous, now I can get back to my truck.

Been crazy busy week. I was hoping this weekend would be quiet but that changed since I have to work Sunday morning. Need to move around about 20 phones. The Districts are playing musical locations. If all goes good, should only take a couple hours. Who knows what will get done Saturday.

Well That was an 8 hour day. Once I had all the phones moved, They had a bunch of reprogramming to do. It was tough to get up and have to go back in this morning on my normal day in the office. Will see what the rest of the week brings

Welcome to working at the city. Late tuesday last week I was sent over being told there were phone issues that they wanted looked at. Turned out to be moves scheduled for Sunday. Then a bunch of programming. Got to love the communication

Got the Colorado back today!!! Looks great and sure is nice to be back up where I can see and be seen. Didn't get much done over the weekend. Allergies are kicking my A$$ and still are.
Swung by Octane Marine to see if they can do the impeller on the floater. They are backed up 3 months. They have taken on Chucks customers and what he had in shop working on. Guess I will be wrestling this one more time. Don't want to, but need to get it done if we want to go float'n.

Yea, but I was hoping not to wrestle this thing this year. I have everything ordered so this will be next weekend project. I have plenty of things to do this weekend. Have oleanders that need an attitude adjustment in the front along with a Mexican Bird of Paradise. Yard needs mowed front and back. Taking the car out Saturday night to do more testing and fine tuning.

Does sound like a lot of work that didn't get done. Sinuses are kicking my butt all weekend. I did go to the track. Wasn't going to miss that. Oleanders and the yard are going to be dusty nasty job. Oleanders are in full frig'n bloom right now too. . I do need to get them done some how as everything is WAY out of control. WInd the next few days is not going to help.
Good news is the car went straight after a little more adjusting. Went a couple rounds before the red eye got him. Got just a little quick on the button. .005 red
