That's one thing I want to talk to someone about if I can do that or not. I know the city doesn't want me to leave.
Been a crazy weekend. Got up Saturday morning and mowed the yard. Just as I got done, my phone rings. I got called on a couple locations with fire panel line issues. rest of the day was pretty much jacked up. Sunday got up and gave the Colorado and the gf moms car a quick bath. Then went out for a late lunch. Now time to relax to get ready for Monday. By washing the two, maybe that will make it rain.

WOuld love to, but I'm on call the rest of this week thru Sunday I'm taking friday off as comp time. I have a feeling that will get jacked. never fails

Another long busy week over. AS usual I didn't get my friday off for comp time. Had to many issues to deal with. Just what I told management. So I'm taking on the frais Vince Vaughn said in Mr & Mrs Smith when they found out they are on the hit list for their companies. "I find Myself Dragging my feet"

Replaced the turn signal switch in the HD Saturday morning. Been jacked up for awhile when using the washer. Wouldn't stop the wipers unless you jiggled the switch until it did stop. That was a joy to get done. Still need to replace the ABS module to get the lights to turn off on the dash. Need to check the brake pads. at 168k still have the original pads on it. Hydro booster is leaking as well. Not bad but starting to make a mess. Need to chase down an oil leak. small but needs to be found and hopefully and easy fix.

Sorry guys, I didn't realize the board was down for so long.
Last week, I upgraded the OS to Debian Debian 12 (Bookworm). The board actually did fine with it but I had problems elsewhere. The new PHP version that came with it (8.2) was too high for one of my websites (texassealifecenter.org) and the store portions of this site and decalsbydoug.com. I had to downgrade PHP back to a version that was high enough for the stores and padreislandparrotheads.com but not too high for texassealifecenter.org. Oh and my sftp software stopped working so every file change was from the command line. I toyed with having different versions for different sites, but it turned into an allnighter and I had to go back to work before I could finish. When I got home from work, I upgraded the sftp software, which made fixing everything else a breeze. My top priority was texassealifecenter.org because they are a paying client. I got them going but didn't realize the apache2 config file for this site was rewritten in the process. Whenever apache2 is upgraded, I have to go back in to add the lines for the SSL. I was up for 40 straight hours at this point. I didn't realize this site wasn't working until days later. Evidently, I should come here more.

Heading down to Tucson to run the car for the weekend. First trip out with the new doors. Races are Saturday and Sunday nights. I think both nights are 1/8th mile. should be a fun weekend.

lets just start with THE AIR SUUUCKED!!! Car did good. Ran 1/8 mile Saturday night. Dialed a 6.0. First round went 6.002, second went 6.007, third went 6.009 where we went out since the competition out treed us. There had to have been 400 cars there. Saturday. For time runs, The staging lanes were FULL and ran past the end of the start of the lanes. Last pass of eliminations for the Saturday NIGHT races was at 7:20 Sunday morning. Sunday races went to somewhere after midnight but were done by around 2:30. We crashed around 11:30 Had a clean event until sunday evening when a guy on a single turbo fox body mustang hung it out to long and pancaked the wall just passed the 1/8 line. not hard but tor the car up. He finally settled at the 1320 mark after a long slow spin down the track.

Well, that's great at least the car is working again. Glad to hear about the turnout, that's the way it should be, it was like that every Sat night at the County when we ran the Altered back in the 80's.

What a week and we still have one more day left. Thankfully that's FRIDAY!!! My ffot and ankle swelled up over the weekend. No idea why. No pain and no discoloration. Been to the doc where they sent me to get an ultrasound done this morning. No clots found but still waiting for the doctors office to get back to me on the next steps.
Seriously considering selling the floater. Did the service on the drive and changed the oil back the end of April. Also pulled the old gas out. Have yet to fire it off. Therefore it hasn't seen any water outside of what rain we have had. Hat to but I don't want it sitting and rotting away. Just can't get the time to go out. Been 2 summers now that we haven't been able to go. I'm guessing it's worth about 7k as it is.

Foot seems to be doing better today. Went and got the Ultrasound and they didn't find any clots. Thats the good news. I still have yet to hear from the doc if they saw anything ells or have any suggestions. I have to go down town tomorrow. I have a few things I need to get done.

I hope so. Still have swelling on the bottom of my left foot. Seems to come and go. Still haven't heard from the doc's office. I keep forgetting to call. I keep getting detoured and busy during the day.

Very true. Been a busy week that doesn't help either. Finally was able to get the results from the ultrasound just this afternoon. Granted everything is all clear, I think they get the hint that I'm glad this isn't a life or death issue, but it would have been nice to know something last week. Granted they would have sent me to emergency right away if they did see a clot.
