After this jacked up of a week due to work. I don't know what I will get done this weekend. Right now I'm just glad work is done for this jacked up week. Next week isn't starting out to much better so far,

Yea no sh!t. If I had coworkers that would do their jobs and stop complaining, prove they are worthy to keep their jobs and deserve a raise. We would be in a better place until we know if we have jobs at the end of June. Been 3 weeks and not a word from our manager on where we are. They even cancelled our friday weekly meeting. Been poking around, for what I do, There isn't anything out there. It's retire early, That I can't afford right now, OR start over doing something ells that I would most likely take a big pay cut. Either way I'm screwed if I can't keep my job doing all that I do for the city.

Yeah, that sucks the big one, companies won't say anything because they don't want you to start looking and probably leave before the time, so they just act like nothing is going on till the last minute, then one day you have a job, the next day you don't have a job.

We were in a meeting with our city supervisor Monday morning. All he could tell us is that the city is pissed off and upper management is having discussions with GMI management. Hopefully to get this crap straightened out. I have been pocking around, nothing out there for what I do. SO the question is, what can I slide into until I'm able to retire with minimal pay hit until then, but stay above water financially.

Bummer, might try talking to some inside people that you know on a day to day basis, they might be able to come up with something, lot of places only hire that way, wouldn't hurt to try.

part of the problem is that I can't solicit the city or WWT for a job due to the way the non compete is written and they can't solicit me for a job. Everyone that I deal with that doesn't want me to leave knows what's going on. I have one person that's trying to figure out a loop hole even if I get hired by one of their vendors and I slide basically under the radar under a different job title. Time will tell and that clock is ticking.

Yea They do. Now we have WWT pissing up a storm since we haven't done time cards for them since the beginning of July. We haven't been due to they haven't updated the info for us to do so. We have a meeting with this dumb a$$ tuesday.

I'm guessing he will get an ear full on not just time cards but this whole situation. Can't wait to hear what he has to say. If he thinks I'm going back 4 months worth of time, He's not going to get it. We didn't drop the ball.

Finally this week is done and so am I for a week. Doing Turkey day with the Imediat family at the folks tomorrow. Not sure when we will get all the kids together. All I know is I'm not stressing over anything for a week. If it gets done, it got done.

Looking pretty quiet around here for the next few days still. Still no word on what we are doing with the kids. Be nice if we can at least all get together for a couple hours just to hang out and relax with no drama.

Been quiet but have done a few things but nothing around the house. Spent turkey day afternoon with buddy with the race car and his mom. Friday went and got new phones. Spent the rest of the day trying to get that usable. Saturday went o Sam's club then went out for lunch with the youngest daughter with the youngest grand kid after dropping everything off at the house. This morning had the grand kid over night, got breakfast then installed a new LED 3rd brake light in the Colorado. Had some mail and bills to deal with. Now just hanging out getting ready to go back to the Circus they call work.
Found out friday that our latest immediate manager is now not able to communicate with us directly. Along with not to be talking to the City or WWT. He is allowed to send messages via one of our team members to send to the team. He doesn't want to or have the time to be the go between. This crap is getting uglier as time goes on.

It doesn't, but I have lights to hang, I have Frosty and Santa to get setup as well. Did I say I got a 10' Santa to go with frosty outside. Was at Wally World and it was $60. Had to get someone to keep frost company.
