Use the square type easy-out, if you have heat put a quick red spot on the side and it'll break loose real quick, if no heat spray Freeze-Off on the bolt and it'll come right out. U-bolts would be kinda ugly.

I was thinking of seeing if I could drill and easy out it. I'll have to look at it in a good light and see what I can muster up. Haven't heard of that Freeze-off. Might have to look into that as well.

Stuff works great, it's the opposite of heat just spray it on the bolt it'll shrink it and come right out, if it argues give another spray and a tap and it'll come right out, I've had some rusted so bad no other penetrants would work until I used this stuff. You can get it just about anywhere.

O'Reilly's doesn't have it. Looks like auto zone does. I'm going to swing in and grab some. I was able to drill into the bolt and used an easy out that I had. Didn't work. I picked up a set of square extractors last evening but the weather moved in and couldn't work on it anymore. Hopefully will be able to work on it this evening before the storms hit. I cut the boards for the bow support, just need to drill and cover them.

Yeah, most places carry it got mine at $hitMart. I hate those screw type extractors, they just expand the part and get tighter as you apply pressure, not bad if it's just a broken bolt but if they are rusted in real bad I find the square ones to work way better.

Got it out!!! Took a little doing but I got it. Picked up a couple new bolts to replace the broken one and one just in case. Got the new boards with carpet on them installed just as the wind and dust came up. Just need to re position everything and it's DONE!!! Heading to the lake in the morning so we can relax a bit and I can look at my work with the boat off the trailer. Still need to do the fender boards. Not sure I will get them done before Havasu in two weeks.

Fender boards cut, painted and carpeted. I just painted the outside facing the tires black. Have one board on just need to get the other on. Just got a little too toasty out. Also got the pinstripe on the trailer that I have had for over a year. Anyone need some black paint. I went to Lowes and they had a gallon all ready made up for $10. Grabbed a 2" wide cheap brush and off I went. It's like a semi flat. Boards looked good after 2 quick coats. I think it might even be exterior paint. I was looking for something cheap since after a few dips in the water who knows what it will look like.

That's all I ever use, cheap exterior paint and cheap carpeting, be surprised how long they last if you don't park it where the sun don't beat down on it all the time.

Not much getting done tonight. Got to go to the dentist. Had a tooth break up and a filling fell out this morning. Looks like a tooth extraction probly two and who knows how many fillings. I hate going to the dentist.

Extractions on two teeth. Going to get it done next week. Didn't want to get it done and be out of it for the weekend. He set me up with antibiotics just in case it flares up between now and then. which it might with as much tooth that's gone.
