Extractions on two teeth. Going to get it done next week. Didn't want to get it done and be out of it for the weekend. He set me up with antibiotics just in case it flares up between now and then. which it might with as much tooth that's gone. Â
My dentist did the same thing, get's rid of the infection and the pain. It was easy though, just have to be careful for a few days on what you eat, other than that it's business as usual.

When it rains it pours. The window regulator for the drivers rear window went all to he!! last evening in the Chevy. Went to roll it down a little and it didn't stop until it hit the bottom of the door. Ran to O'Reilly's and got the whole thing including a new motor. Figured it was all probly worn out after 15 years. Thinking about getting ahead of the game and replacing the other three doors. Driver door has been acting strange for a couple years now. but goes up down ok. Need to replace the felt and see if that stops the scratching of the window.
I'll have to take a gander at that. Still thinking about replacing the others.
After getting that all back together Thursday evening, Getup Friday morning to latch onto the boat and the Taco has a flat. Â Â I said screw it I'll deal with it when we get back. Pulled the boat out and put the Taco in the boat spot. Get to Havasu, check into the hotel and wonder over to Albersons. Get out of the truck and something caught my eye. Was looking at the front of the truck to find one of the driving light lens's is missing. Â Â As the weekend progressed and the more we drove around the front end started to make some strange popping noises. Couple times I felt it in the steering wheel. Still not sure what it is. Will look into that this weekend. Â Boat ran great and the trailer looks great. Â Â Need to adjust the bow "V" piece a little next trip out.
Oh the Taco tire. Had a 2" sheet rock screw in it. I'm going to need to put tires on it probly next spring , So I just plugged it. Â

This was also the first trip with the new t-stat. I pushed it a little as we came off the Bill Williams Bridge and the hill the other side of Cat Tail. Temp came up to just over 210 is all. I expected it to go up a little with the heat and the climb with the weight. Was no where near what it was doing before. Once on flat land it came down pretty quick. I can live with this. Tranny temp I would like to see come down quicker than it does as it seems to hang for quite awhile before coming down. LONG after the engine coolent has come down.

Well, at least it got you there and back, and the boat ran good and came back in one piece, I'd say that was a pretty good weekend. Sounds like it could use a auxiliary cooler though, how hot does the tranny get.

Got to about 220* and just hangs then slowly comes down. Running flat land it runs about 195* to 200*. I can live with that. not the temp hanging well after the engine has come down. Been looking at the Derale 13403 to replace the one I have. 2 1/2 inches taller and 3 inches wider and I think 5 rows more. Or adding it to what I have now with a thermostat. I have also thought about a deeper pan with cooling.

Yeah, 195*-200* is perfect but shouldn't go any higher and stay there, that 13403 should do the job easy though, I wouldn't add it though that just puts more $hit in front of the radiator and restricts more air.

Hopefully I found the noise in the frontend. The right side lower control arm, front bolt had come loose. So loose that the nut was actually only on about 2 threads and the bolt was backed out of the hole. Â Â Tightened it back up with some red lock tight and will keep an eye on it. While there I greased up all the joints.
