Maybe down the road I will, after it's all rigged and in the water, I know a guy here that works for a detailing place and he said he could make it look almost like a new boat, probably go that rote for a while.

I need to have someone hit mine to clean it up. Being in the elements is taking it's toll since I can't tarp it. Need to get my machine over here and see what I can make to take care of what the cover doesn't. I have a couple idea's that should work.

Yeah, being out in the elements sure can do a number on stuff real quick, it's not bad under the carport but still gotta keep it covered because of the wind.

Jan 5th we will be at Wild Horse Pass running our season opener along with some heads up 1/8th mile index racing. Pick your poison. 6.0, 6.5, 7.0 & 7.5 class's. Normal breakout ruling running pro tree. 6.0 & 6.5 .4 tree, 7.0 & 7.5 .5 tree. Bring it and run it!!! Add weight, adjust your throttle stop, set your electronic's to make the index. Should be a fun day!!!
I'll try to get the rest of our race dates up soon.

We were talking last night about this event. He said if we get 30 cars for this, He will do it again. I would like to see minimum of 8 cars per index. If we don't have a good showing for one, then drop that index. That way we don't have 2 cars in one index and say 16 in the next one. I'm sure we are going to have to make adjustments as we go.

You don't see that anymore. It's all about the club/group. I don't remember the last time anyone putting on a race with a quick 32 car field. Most I see any more are racers chasing the points in the club/group they belong too. To get one racer to break away and try something new or different is difficult. Even if the event is when their club/group isn't racing that day. We were highly shocked 3 years ago when we got the 50+ cars for the Halloween Havoc at Wild Hours to run our program. Most that ran that were not our regulars just joined to be at the event and to race while they were there since we were the only open program running that day they could run in.

Well this is going to be interesting. Company just announced this morning we have been acquired by another company. Just what I needed to hear. When this phone system upgrade is done I was already worried about whats going to happen. This doesn't help matters.

That sucks, anytime there's a takeover there's always shuffling around, worst part is waiting to see what happens because they won't tell you ahaed of time, they just dump a bomb on you at the last minute.

I was on that side once, they won't say anything because they know you'll be gone and they want you there till the last minute, so they spring it on ya with you're last paycheck, or worse don't say anything and when you come to work the next day the doors are locked.

Just cleaned up my resume to get to my boss to see if they will keep my O'l a$$. Had a conversation with my boss on Monday to see what the company is going to do once we are done with the city. He actually had no idea what the plan is. I have been hearing that they will be done with the phone system change for the city by around the end of March. Also no word on when the airport will be done. SO I'm thinking time to get my feelers out and start looking for a job. I don't have a good feeling I will be reassigned by the company.
