KNARLY!!!!
Well it's looking like a starter in the chevy. Connected my remote switch to it and hit it about 5 times before it sperked a couple times and spun over. Boat however is done. I had planned on replacing the battery any ways. Pumped the drive with oil this morning and dropped it off my stands once I got the chevy started. Still have engine oil to change in all the vehicles.

Well, that's one item out of the way. Sounds like the solenoid not the starter, take it apart and turn the disc over and turn the contact around and it's like-new again, good for another 10 years.

Well the city called begging for me to get back there. SO off I went this morning to tackle a bunch of tickets. That came to a screeching halt when I couldn't get into the old system. We will see what happens in the morning.

Turns out that when I had my interview. I was on a list to be hired. I was to be hired to continue on with what I was doing at the city under the new company. They guy I talked to had no idea that was the case. So bottom line is the only thing that changed is who writes my check. We will see if I can work my way into something to get out from behind this freak'n desk.

Now there is a battle on giving me access to the old phone system. The company I left is having a fit about me being able to access it. The city is not happy and battling them while I have things I need to do related to tickets and the project. About half of what I should be doing I can't. So I do what I can and wait for the battle royal to be settled.

Both trucks and GF mom's car all got oil changes, air in tires and fluids checked/filled. Chevy got a new starter. Still have the boat to do in the morning but want to fire it off first. Then I have the grass to mow. I ran around first thing this morning and sprayed the weeds waiting for it to warm up a bit.

Well, sounds like you're just about ready. Finally found someone to de-weed our place, another day and they'll be done then I can spray the whole place.

Fired the bloater off and did the oil change, replaced the fuel filter while I was there then fired it off again to make sure the fuel lines had purged.
Changing the oil, well I picked up one of thses oil extractors from West Marine. I should have picked this up years ago!!! 4-5 pumps and the oil is flowing. Just sit back and watch it. took about 15 minutes to finish, but it beats the he!! out of the stupid pump thing on a drill.
Just need to replace the battery. It struggled a bit to start it both times. Then a bath and it's ready to go.

Seems As Though I've Heard That Before.. Â
many years ago it hung up. Been doing good until a few days a go. Time to replace it and take that worry off the list. Don't need any issues with that next week.

Not sure about yours, but mine wasn't to bad to get out. Just have the trany cooler lines in the way to get to one of the bolts. I was able to push them aside.

Good Weekend over all for the event. No major accidents. Predator was the top dog as he went 185mph at the shoot out. Don't remember what the top hand was. I know second place had a straight flush 4 to 8 I think hearts.
As for us, Not so good. Got the boat off the trailer and didn't get to the doc's with it over heating. So it sat in the slip all weekend. Trip home, got out side Wickenburg to have the truck shake and jurked and kicked the cruise out. Looked in the mirrors and didn't see any thing so we kept trucking. Got home to find the right rear tire on the trailer shed it's tread but is still holding air even as of this evening. Bent the bottom of the fender up, pushed the step up a little and kicked the marker light out of the step. A hunk of rubber did hit the boat but I can rub that out. Oh and lost a center cap. I drained the drive Monday morning but haven't had time to get the bottom half off due to weather and work today.
