That sucks sorry to hear that, have any idea why it overheated, broken impeller chunks maybe. Lucky on the tire though, I had one come apart on my dually going to the river, took out the exhaust pipe and the fender you park it on concrete for long periods of time.

Not sure yet on the cooling issue. Possibly the pickup tube between the bottom and upper half's of the drive didn't line up. Trailer parks on concrete. We were talking last night and these tires are Carlisle's not quite 5 years old. This is the first set of radials I put on it. I'm considering going back to bias ply.

Parking on concrete for long periods is the worst thing for tires, I lost a brand new set of Michelin's on my dually in a little over a year because of that, they had less than 2000 miles on them., when I went back and told them what was going on an old tire guy asked me where did I park it, told him beside my house on the driveway then he told me about concrete, he said if you park on concrete for a long time without moving it put pieces of plywood under the tires, later a friend told me he went through the same thing and was told to put wood under tires while parked, also keep them covered to keep the sun off helps too.

The sun thang I knew about, but haven't heard about the concrete thing. guess I'll put it up on a couple 2x6's and see what happens. Still not sure if I'll go back to the bias ply's or replace them with radials again.

It was. Got it all back together Saturday morning and fired it of . Came up to temp and held. I didn't see any issues and it ran as normal. Hopefully I didn't hurt anything. Will know better once we can hit the lake in a couple weeks. I also cut a couple strips of plywood that I had and put them under the tires after I got the trailer off the blocks. We will see what that does. Still not sure what I'm dong with tires. Definitely not doing Carlisle's.

I've never used Carlisle before but I've known some that did and they didn't care for them much. Actually the best thing for tires is to take the weight off them completely, friend of mine made some stands for his so they were only about an inch off the ground and made covers for them, tires lasted a long time.

I thinking about doing something to get them up off the ground. Wish I had my machine here so I can make some covers for the tires.
Where's the machine, thought you had it..
My machine is at the folks house all wrapped up. I don't have any outlets in my garage to plug it in. Even though I was just thinking(I know, Not a good thing) I should go get it and squeeze it in the office for now.

Well, that's one reason to put outlets in the garage.

There is one outlet that I have been using as I need it to run things. But I don't trust it to plug my machine in to after what I have already found and pulled out of there. I also have a feeling it may be tagged on to an outlet just on the other side of the wall in the living room.

Talk about turn of events and interesting day of racing. Yes I said day. We were about half way to Tucson Friday afternoon when we get a call telling us that due to the rain that looks like hitting Tucson. We will be doing a double header Saturday. Thankfully we had no issues and were able to complete both race's by 6:30 pm Saturday. We were almost packed up when we had a bad rain storm hit. We were soaked to the bone. Went to the hotel for the night and came home sunday Morning. Car counts were down big time for all the groups. Probly weather and Mothers day related.

Yea it was a good day. A lot of hustling to get everyone through so were not there after dark. One thing that was nice is to not have to bust a$$ to get home sunday, even though we got up and hit the road. We walked in the door about 12:30 sunday afternoon. Then me and couch had a long conversation while working the remote all afternoon.

I really don't want to wait for the weekend after Memorial weekend. and I don't want to be on any water way Memorial weekend. I want to make memorial weekend a lazy weekend. If it gets done it gets done weekend.

All I want to do is a quick shake down. It may be a little chilly, but I need to get it done. Get on the water early and get off before too many of the Yahoo's get on. Then I will feel better to hook and go when we want to float or get out of town.
