SWEET!!!!  Those will be great in the Spectra!!!   :good   I'd like to get a couple like that and see how they are put together. Just curious. I have always wondered how they put them together.

I haven't done anything more with the carpet. Stayed down town after work Monday to see whats needed to get permits for the wall, concrete and the electrical in the garage. Don't need anything for the concrete but can get one permit to cover the wall and the electrical. I need to do up a couple drawings showing what I'm doing and measurements for the wall and how and what's being used for electrical. Probly looking at less that 300 bones and have 2 years to complete the projects. Just need to make sure a call to the city has been done with in 160 days to keep things open.

Yeah that's what I thought right away, and they are stout, the bottom in the center is about 3" plastic of some kind that's bolted to the wood, I looked in the holes and the wood looks good no black rot or anything. :good

Permits can be a PITA sometimes, they say how long it'll take before you get them??. :stupid

Seats sound like a solid project. Been thinking about where you found them. Kind of an odd place. I can't help wondering if someone stripped a hot boat

Nahhh I doubt it, people put stuff there quite often, quite a bit of traffic right there since it's the two main roads coming in and out of town..

True. Safe to say you haven't been able to get much done with the spectra?

Nope, don't have the rotisserie yet, he's almost done but he's been having medical issues too so that slowed him down a bit, been trying to get $hit caught up around the place before the surgery, won't get much done for a few weeks after that. :banghead

For got the only thing I have to do is trim up around the seat pedestal. I left that snug around that so I had a solid place to center everything. I just need to trim about a half an inch all the way around and will be good to go. I hope to get it to the bonders Friday.

I hope so. It's pretty close to the same grey as the carpet I did in it a couple years ago. Been looking at the rest of the interior and it's starting to show signs of drying and cracking in places.

Yeah, they'll show age after awhile especially if they sit outside, think I'll do mine if fabric instead of vinyl.

I had fabric in my Daytona and after 8 yrs they were still in good shape, of course it sat in the garage when not in use, but every summer it sat outside at the river and mostly in the sun, and yes they are way cooler..

Interesting. I'll have to look into that.

Have the carpet ready to go. I'm going to try to get it bound Tuesday afternoon. At least get it dropped off.  :good   Then the snap install will begin.

Saturday got the last fit and trim to the carpet. Sunday started to clean up the garage when I was told the refridg was not right. Had to pull that apart and defrost it. Looks like the ice maker is leaking.  :banghead  I got it all back together and made sure all was OK. Now I need to figure out the icemaker deal.  :rolleyes  I turned the ice maker off for now.

It's leaking toward the back of the maker. Not sure if something maybe froze up or if there is something redirecting the water. Cubes also seem to be a little smaller that normal.

After taking the Taco in a couple weeks ago to have the tires rotated and  rebalanced due to a shake, I had it back in today. We will see if that works this time. They were all off. While there I inquired about the were abouts of the center caps for the trailer I have been asking about. Well they are telling me that now all the MB72 wheels have been discontinued and so have the center caps. I have found black ones for the trailer for $60 each. Only thing I don't know is if they are painted or what. Can I strip them and have them chromed? What's chroming going to cost? I found a set of 4 chrome with no label for $175 for the truck. Right now I don't know what I'm going to do. I hate having the buddy Bearings hanging out there. I just may have to live with it for now and deal with it later. I really liked the look of having all 8 wheels matching.

Dropped the carpet off to get bonded. They had a lighter grey than the carpet. I hope that looks good. Looked good against it.
