Here is the top of the tank. The red arrows show where the line goes. The green circle is what the fitting looks like that connects to the line going to the front off the front of the tank. The quick connect shown is not there on the car I worked on. That end of the line is molded to the pump then is positioned in the slot going to the front of the tank, then down the front of the tank where it connects to the line going to the front of the car with the quick connect. The tank is right against the floor of the car.

Oh wow, I see where you're at now, nothing like I had visualized, seems the newer the vehicle the worse it gets. I just have two fittings and a piece of hose, pop the lock ring and out it comes, I have about 3" between the floor and the tank which is in the center.

Saturday morning I decided to pull the ceiling fan down in the living room that's been leaning more and more lately. I swear this dude had to have had an endless supply of screws. First of all the fan wasn't even close to have been hung correctly. I don't know why it didn't fall. The bracket that attaches to the "J" box was drywall screwed to a plastic "J" box. Screws were about 3" long. From the living room I could only see that the box was plastic and had no idea how it was hanging there. Once up in the attic this morning, I could see that they had used the cheesiest bracket I have ever seen. I ripped that out and put up a heavier "METAL" bracket and box. I had to cut the hole in the ceiling out for the bigger metal box. Then remounted the fan the way it supposed to be. It doesn't lean any more and it's not going to come down on it's own.
Just inside the garage from the house someone has built a wood platform, It's the same height as the house floor and there is a ramp coming off that into the garage. In between the doorway and this platform they had put this cheesy threshold molding that was nailed down covering a gap. One end of it kept coming loose and I was tired of tripping on it. So I tore that up and replaced it with a Nice wooden one. I got a little carried away by using the stain that was left. It's now stained the same look as the base boards in the house. and it is screwed down. I used normal wood screws that I counter sunk and made it look purdy.

WOW, some people just don't have a clue or think, ceiling fan falling can be a disaster, might want to wear a helmet in the house until you check them all out. I've always said that some people shouldn't be allowed to own tools let alone work on stuff.

I was thinking the same thing on the way in this morning. Some people shouldn't be allowed even in a hardware store let alone have tools in their hands. YouTube is no help either. Â Â

Been looking at stoves. Found one that will replace the '71 GE push button brown antique drop in that we have now with out to much demolition. It's a GE drop in that's a little deeper. Looking about $1500. I could get one that's bigger. But that will cost me probly about 8 to 10 grand. The kitchen would have to be remodeled to make anything ells work.

nothing is cheep anymore and doesn't last. We looked at a refrigerator that was almost $6k. I asked the sales person if the thing did the shopping. It had camera's in it so that if you were at the store you could tap into it with your smart phone and see what was inside. I'm waiting for these things to keep track of whats put in and makes a list of whats take'n out. Then calls the store for a delivery of the things out of stock. Society is getting SOOOOO lazy due to technology.

Tired of the high prices of COX TV so I signed up to check HULU out. Played with it a little last night. Seems to be OK. Have a week to play with it. If not I'm thinking about Dish?? Not sure but I do know I want to get away from COX TV.

I always liked COX never had an issue with them, of course it's been a while too so maybe they've changed. We had Direct here for awhile and they sucked big time, and pay a fortune for trash. We dumped them and bought a Roku best thing we ever did, then we subscribed to Holu with no commercials and "Live TV", we added Showtime through Hulu(cheaper), if you can't find something to watch, you have a problem.

Played around with HULU last evening and found the guide and how to record. I got the $44 package that has the live TV. so far so good. Have through the weekend to play for free.
We have Amazon Prime for movies and that kind of thing. Only thing with that is a lot of the popular stuff you have to pay for. We have come across movies over 10 years old they want you to pay for. To me that makes no sense. A movie with in 5 years old, Maybe.

Were Da Weekend go!!??
Saturday morning we loaded up the busted up side walk and hauled it off. We were done about noon. Found a place out about 114th ave and Northern, Dirt 101, that took it. Couldn't argue with $20 a load and we dropped off 2. Now to get trenching and get things ready for concrete.

Now!!! For Sunday Â
Our final race of the year. Low car count due to Tucson had Super Chevy going and the Western Fuel Altered's were there as well. So in our Sport Comp group we had a total of 12 cars. 3 were chevy's, 2 S10's and 67 Nova, Rest were all mustang's except 1 that was a mid 70's Fairlane. Top Comp was 2 cars. A dragster and the buddy with his Vega. SO the Top comp did a best of 3 just to give them some running time and they were also the top 2 cars in points. The vega won it in 2 runs but couldn't muster enough points to get the championship for the year. That went to the dragster. Sport comp came down to our leader going out in the first round opening up the door for second place in points to take it. But, He had to win with no issues. He was penalized by going to fast in round two and we had to re index him. Then he went out in the semi Finals and handed the championship for the year to the points leader. Points leader was also our rookie of the year last year. Â Â
It was a great day of and for racing. Car count's were down for all the groups that came out. We had one oil down that went from the water box to the shut down. Then we had a drive shaft kill a U-Joint, No oil but it took a bit to get the car off the track as the car stopped about 100ft down track and clean up the needle bearings.
This will be our last race as the GF and I are taking next year off and cutting a few things out to concentrate on projects around the house, do things to the trucks and the boat that I need to get done and try to take a real vacation or two. If we get time, we will go out and help, but my main focus is the above mentioned projects this next year starting this week. This time next year we will see where we are and go from there.

Yea it's time to break out the shovel. Then a tractor to remove dirt to get the yard to concrete depth. Â
Called COX last evening and cut TV service. Totally HULU with live TV and Amazon Prime now. I may take my home made HD Antenna and hook it to the TV for more channels and local stuff.

No, Didn't do the no commercial add on. Figured I wold see how this goes and go from there. However, I got home yesterday to find cable/internet was out. SO i grabbed the home made HD antenna and connected it to the tv so we could watch the game. I think I'm going to make another one and put it in the attic as a back up.

Something you may be interested in. There is a C10/Square body show going on at Westgate Nov, 15th. Haven't heard if there is going to be a swap meet or not. I'm still trying to get more info on hours as this is on a Friday. Friend was telling us about it. He is going to have his race truck and his sons matching street truck. Race truck will be behind a custom crew cab square body he built that's a friend of his. All three trucks are white. Sounds like it's going to be a good show. I won't be able to get there until after work but plan on going and checking it out.

Yeah, that's the only thing you need is good internet service, I had to use my phone for a hot spot once for about 5 hours been lucky otherwise, antennas don't work for $h!t here since we're down in a valley, all you get is a couple independent stations that are crap.

Did some digging in the yard on the north side of the driveway to find the sprinkler line. I found it and set it up to run the sprinkler valve cable through to the back yard next to the power box as planned. All I need to do now it trench to the back of the house and drop the conduit it the ditch and bring it up under the breaker box. I still need to redo the south side of the driveway to be able to run the cable through. Shouldn't be to hard to do compared to what I went through on the north side.
