Well I was supposed to get my new steering wheel today but it never arrived. FedEx said they put it on the porch at 12:24 this morning. Ha noooooo I was home and nothing not even a knock at the door. I really wish I had a security camera to see if they really did. I don’t know maybe it was delivered to another address.

Thanks Guys!!! It's been a rough couple days getting them ready to go this morning. We were looking and it turns out they will be in Ohio for three weeks. Not sure what happen, but they needed to go home and spend time with family being the GF's mom just turning 80. Wish I could have gone, but I need to get this eye thing taken care of. Been waiting since March. I hope they have a good and safe trip. I will pick them up at the airport late afternoon on the 9th.

Thanks Guys!!! GF and her mom made it to Ohio and are staying with family. Doing a celibration of life Saturday. Sounds like there is going to be a packed house where they are holding it.
Eye surgery went good this morning. I have a patch over my right eye that makes it VERY difficult to see. That stays on until tomorrow then a regiment of drops for 3 weeks. So typing this with one eye covered and one eye a little blurry is difficult.

Glad to hear that they made safely there.
It must suck being home alone after surgery. How did you get home? Or did you have someone else drive you. Well for you to be typing with one eye your doing pretty good.

Gotta suck with just one blurry eye, at least it's only for one day When is the next one due to get fixed?

Always nice when new parts arrive, I hate waiting on parts.
You forgot to take pics of the carb Oh well, if all else fails read the instructions. Â Â
Yes I did forget to take pics but it wasn’t to bad putting it back together. One of the problems was the carburetor dip cleaner here in calif. sucks. It doesn’t work like it used to when I was younger I bought a small gal can but the parts don’t fit in the can so I poured it into small gas can that I cut up so the base plate would fit. but it is all together now.

Yeah, with all that EPA bull$hit nothing is good like it used to be, I bought a sonic cleaner and use Simple Green and water, sure makes parts come out clean. Â

That sucks. Here lately they have been taking pictures of the delivery on the porch and that comes with the email that it was delivered. I would call them on it and have them show proof that it was delivered and where.

Glad that your doing better and your sight is coming back. Yeah having parents take you places is always a little stressful. My mom drove like she was going to a yard sale and she wanted to be the first person there.

To my surgery, my mom driving started to go the wrong way and had traffic all jacked up. On the way home, we were less that a half mile from my house when she went right when she should have gone left. My dad that's just about blind corrected her before I did.

Only did about a half a day in the office and went home on monday to continue to work on my 32" tv that I use as a monitor. It's little better to see than the two 20" monitors I have at work. I would have thought that I would be clearer than what I am at this point. Maybe I'm expecting to much to fast. I have a called the doc's office and they want to see me thursday morning. Sounds like I should be further along with clearer site by now

Sorry to hear that doesn’t sound good. I would say you should be farther along also, but I am Just going off what how my Lasik surgery was. I know that yours is different and probably harder to do so it might take longer to get the results that you need. Well stay positive brother are prayers are with you.
So for now I'm laying low and working from home. I haven't been on my puter unless I need to. By the time I get done with work I'm done and don't want to look at the screen and I want to limit my time looking at it as well.

Well, haven't had mine done yet so I don't know, but Doc told me that I'd be amazed at how things look the next day. Sure hope it's something minor and it'll be all better soon.

looking like I'm the slow process of healing. I went in and they checked everything and said all is looking good. I'm still scheduled to go back on Sept 24th. He told me to keep track and if I'm still as blurry as I am come around the 15th, Then let them know then. I hope this gets better and we don't have to go back in to do what every to get it fixed. I'm holding off on the left eye until we get the right eye squared away.

Wow I wouldn’t think that it would take this long to start seeing clearly. I sure hope that you get better soon and like you said don’t get the other done before you start seeing clearly.

Thanks guys!!! Been rather frustrating to say the least. Will see how things are going at the end of next week and go from there. It's been tough since all my work is on a computer. I'll take breaks as much as I can to not strain my eyes anymore that need to. Been a couple days we were real busy and my eyes were not happy by the end of the day. I have things outside I need to do and can't due to the doc said no lifting or bending over. I will follow doc orders and hope it helps.

Other day I decided to find the parts and rebuild the trailed brake actuator. Â I did it 15 year ago when I went to disc brakes when I found a couple issues. Well I have them issues now and the freak'n thing and all it's parts have been discontinued. Â Â I have an Atwood that to be honest I haven't really liked the whole time I have had this thing. Â I'm now looking at UFP A-60 to replace it. Â Only issue is that the Atwood is welded on to the trailer. Â Looks like I might be able to cut it off and grind it down to get the UFP on.
Every year it's getting harder and harder to find some parts for this thing. Wish I had the cash to trade this thing in and get something around a 24 -25 ft.
