Well I'm heading to the Retina specialist this afternoon.  Not much change at all so I hope this guy has some answers. Real tired of sitting on my a$$ looking at all that needs to be done, Starting with the yard. Son in Law I think forgot. He does get detoured real easy.  :rolleyes

Once done with work I get away from the computer to try to rest my eyes doing what I can to get them to heal or what ever. Sunday I was on long enough to do a few bills and check email and turned it off. Other than that just work.

Well this doc says the swelling has gone down and is looking good. He wants me to continue with the drops 2 times a day for the next two weeks and once a day until I see him on the 27th. I point blank asked why everything is duplicated/blurry through my right eye. All I got was they will reevaluate once I have completed the drops to see if the swelling comes back or not.   :rolleyes  :stupid  I feel like there is an issue and no one wants to tell me as the insurance company gets fat.

There was some good news. I have been turned loose to do what I want. No restrictions on lifting or bending over. Time to get the yard cleaned up and what ever I can tackle.

I am with you on the issue thing, it seems like it is taking way to long to heal.

At least you can go out and do things now so you aren’t so bored and frustrated. Make sure you wear some shades doing yard work.

Sounds like they're milking the system to me and that sucks big time, glad to hear they lifted the restrictions though, at least now you can get out and do stuff, saves the sanity a bit. :good  :laugh

OH yea!!  I have a couple set of shades. One for the yard and one for other things. I should go get some safety glass's that are dark and not clear like the ones I have.

Been watering the front yard like crazy to get the color back to it and so I'm not mowing a dust bowl.  Grass it crunchy under the feet.   :laugh

Yeah that’s why I really try to keep them either mowed or pulled out. A couple of months ago I bough a weed sprayer that you carry on your back. That way I can spray the whole yard in a hour or so.

I wish there was something that would actually kill the root so the $hit never comes back, instead of just making them dormant until the next rain. :rolleyes

Since the doc turned me lose I change the oil in the trucks and GF mom's car Saturday morning. MAAANN am I out of shape from sitting around. Being it's going to be cooler this weekend we will see what ells I can get done. I'm finally seeing some green in the front yard so that may get mowed. The Oleanders out front need an attitude adjustment as well. Most are about 4ft tall, have a couple that are closer to 5ft due to the sprinkler lines leaking. I think I'll take them down to two ft.  :D  :good  Chain saw has been making noise to do some work.  :D  :laugh

Not really better. Just able to do things. Still things are blurry in the right eye. There has to be something that was over looked and no one wants to admit it and fix it. I go back to the retinal specialist on the 27th.

So do I.  One thing I noticed over the weekend is when lookin at my bug zapper. The black light in it is a bright blue thru my right eye.  I called the docs office and they say it just due to the lens is now letting more light in along with the swelling.  I told them I'm not buying it at all. I will see the retina dud the 27th and go from there.
