The good people of L.A. of course. Estimated cost right now at $4 million. News said that they put up a web site this AM looking for donations. Probably should have auctioned off the tickets to this "event" and made some instead of losseing there butts again. |
Not interested. It's sad that he passed and even sadder is all the BS since.
Not to get off-track here; but along those lines of "makin' a buck and savin' butts"(sic); why doesn't the state of CA take control of Neverland, turn it into a memorial, ala Graceland for Elvis or Hearst Castle, charge a fee to enter, and save some "state butt"? Now we know that most of us wouldn't bother, but there are millions who would. Saw on TV the other day, four girls from Belgium had flown into LA and drove out to Neverland just to hopefully catch a glimpse of MJ or some of his family/entourage. They even went as far as to set up w/a wireless laptop to follow the MJ happenings in their attempts to see something/someone. I think there's a buttload of money waitin' to be made in that there place.

If they charge to see Neverland maybe the family will be able start paying off his debts that have been left behind.

I think you misread BD. The state of CA take it over and keep anything above operation costs. The family can pay off the debts left behind by MJ and for his "funeral" out of their existing wealth. Ya ain't gonna tell em that Janet and LaToya can't afford to pay some. As for the rest?

Lance Armstrong is leading the Tour de France. |
Which race are you watching?
Here's today's standings:
Fabian Cancellara of Switzerland retained the yellow leader’s jersey. Seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong is second overall, by a fraction of a second, with Astana teammate Alberto Contador of Spain 19 seconds back in third.
I'm hoping Armstrong can pull it off. It would be nice to shove that yellow jersey so far up France's collective A hole and shut them all up about the doping accusations!

Do you really think that if he wins there won't be some sort of "new" allegations against LA? C'mon; it's the French!

He's 2nd overall but won that particular portion. If he can pull off the overall win at the end it would be nothing short of Herculine.

And they'll claim that it showed up in his "P Test" and protest his win.
