Note in the pic the Raptor is narrower and much taller than the YFZ450. A huge disadvantage.
I had the Raptor and after I re-jetted it, it was a land rocket.
The Raptors legacy will be it's too tall, too narrow, too tipsy.
We're sand dune riders here in the southwest, and wider, lower quads fit the terrain.
I sold it, and bought 2 YFZ 450's. They have super stearing, light handeling, great powerband and just more fun to ride.
We love um.

cool set up there happy hour! I'd love to have one of those YFZ450's? I bet that thing is wicked fast. But for starters, next year I'm going to buy a new Yamaha WR450F. Currently riding a 1984 Yamaha TT600 with a big bore kit. Had that bike since 1988. Time to upgrade. Can't wait! Gotta love those Yamahas....

Quote (Mrs.Bordsmnj @ Dec. 22 2003,10:45 am) | I just got the word, the financing is a go so Jason will be picking up our new toys tonight or tomorrow! Â
I am soooooooo excited!
Do you know nobody carries pink riding gear? Â Owell, would have clashed with my yellow bike anyways!
Can't wait to ride with all you "dirty" people
Next on the list, we need to recruit the Scubas into sandtoys.

Congrats guys.
And nope we wont be buying any dirt toys any time soon.
Next on the list is a sweet 10 year wedding anniversary trip, new tow rig, house, bigger boat, then retirement. I dont think we have any room for dirt adventures. Â Â
Oh yeah and some where in between all that send Angelisa to USC. So I guess retirement will have to wait for a long time.
