And nope we wont be buying any dirt toys any time soon.

Next on the list is a sweet 10 year wedding anniversary trip, new tow rig, house, bigger boat, then retirement. I dont think we have any room for dirt adventures.  :laugh  :)

Oh yeah and some where in between all that send Angelisa to USC. So I guess retirement will have to wait for a long time.  :laugh

If you would stop spending all that money on going to the USC games and just watch them on TV you could send Angelisa to USC and get dirt toys :D

Steve you are too funny! You don't know what fun you are missing out on. It's great exersice and the desert can be very advertureous as well. I started riding at a very young age thanks to my grandfather that had two old Yamies in the garage at the river house way back in the day. Without him having those dirtbikes there, I really doubt I'd be riding anything at all.

Has anybody ridden the new 4x4's? My bro has a Raptor, and it is pretty cool, but too much bike at times...I like the Yami 450, seems like a better bike, but I have not ridden it...I also like the 4x4's for possible trail riding around Parker...anybody spent anytime on one of the 4x4's...are they fun?

Generally as a rule the 4x4's are big and heavy, which equates to slow and nobody wants a slow quad.

The only redeeming factor that I can see would be the big hunting racks that work out perfect for hauling a big cooler full of barley pops along on the rides.  My 6-pack cooler on the Banshee just doesn't last as long as it should.   :beer

Used to ride two wheels from 5-13 then the family got into boating and we lost interest.....I still like two wheel, but cruising around on quads is something I think I could enjoy more with the wife and friends...if I get the urge to rip around on two wheels, then I will borrow one of my friends two wheelers....maybe I just need to get one of each.. YFZ 450 and a 4x4...wife can drive the 4-wheeler since she does not want anything fast... :plane

ok,got 'em! :D  :good got them stashed in my friend's garage after torrorizing the neighbor hood for a while. i think i'm really gonna like this dirt riding shit! i'd like to spam out for Temple City Honda/Suzuki. they beat LA cycle's price by 200 bucks on both rides. sooo my friend stopped by there on his way home and bought the 300 ex for his wife. $4510 out the door. anyway,i can't wait to get these things in the dirt!looks like we're heading out to topok the day after x-mas. see some of you out there? :beer

The only 4x4 I would consider would be that Yamaha Rhino that was a couple pages back.  That thing was bad ass at Glamis and had all kinds of cooler room.  Someone needs to step up to the plate and get one of those for the off season Parker desert rides.   :beer
