I am looking for the kind of bike carrier that i can slide into my receiver hitch and roll the bike onto, i want to get a trailer but have no place to put it here at the house, the garage is full with "Family" stuff, any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks, i have a Ford Excursion and a class iv hitch. I would be using it for my dirt bike the Yamaha it 465 and my road bike the CBR 600 F4i, not at the same time,thanks again Mike VG

I have a friend that deals in this stuff on the side.  He can get pretty good deals most of the time, and he'll drop ship also.

does your friend have any sources or places, websites or general ideas on where i can go to get this kind of thing, i don't have the equipt. to build my own, and have seen alot of them on other vehs. just feel stupid stopping and asking them, thanks for trying you got my #'s let me know if you hear anything. He said they looked on e-bay under "motorcyle carriers" and found a bunch.  

Have you talked to anyone about fabricating one??  It should be probably pretty easy to make.

They can be made easily if you have a welder.I made one for my atc that slides into my hitch added two extra sliders for stability sure beats towing a trailer if i go by myself.
If you do find one make sure that it is stable from side to side

I built my own.  Pretty easy, not too expensive....kind of heavy.  I'd sell mine and build another.  I still need to add a hoop for the front wheel, but it works well w/o it too.

so now when theres an El Mirage get together i can put the IT465 on the RV and go in comfort, or take the street bike out to meet some folks for a ride 100 miles from me and not have to ride the extra 200 miles plus the days ride. Can't wait it should be here in a week or so.  Mike VG
