Yeah we have done the bike thing then the quad thing and even the sadrail thing for a while and I think we get more use out of the rhino than all of them.. It's not the fastest thing in glamis but it gets us to all the hills with the ice-chest so what more do we need. I haven't tried launching the boat with it yet abd probably won't but it moves it around fairly well. It's a blast down on San Felipe and even more fun out in Needles ( Especially around 1:30 in the morning out in the middle of the desert) good buy I think... I'm still trying to find a way to make it street legal in California..

I like th GPS unit... I need to read up on all it's capabilities though. I bought it mainly for the Speedo but it can do all sorts of other stuff. Once I learn how to use it I think it will be even better. Good luck on yours!

Well....in the rhino it's going in the glove box.. In the truggy @ 100+ mph there isn't much use for one. It's got the race radio in it but it's just forcom's inside and to the other chase vehicles

My brother just bought a new Rhino. He said that guys are having stator problems, because they are trying to run too much stuff off of the factory charging system. Some have mounted single wire alternators so they are driven off of the drive shaft.

Tell him that Black rhino sells a new Stator that will run anything he wants to put on it..$400 I think) The alternators I have seen worked well and they pulled the fan off of the passenger side of motor and ran a belt off of that shaft to a alternator. It requires a liitle fab work but it looks good. The only problem they were having was finding the right alternator with the corect output for the rpm's of that shaft. Couple of cooked batteries and I think they figured it out.
