Cousin Eddie goes to town. Figured I better drive him around a bit. So we took him to breakfast and to Costco :laugh

And during that found a broken fitting started leaking on the fresh water tank :break

With much sadness we have decide to put Cousin Eddie down. He had a near fatal transmission failure fighting a hill and a 50 mph head wind. He was still fighting but it was too much :(  :eek

He helped us learn about the RVing world and taught us what it takes to own and operate a RV. Our next one will be a much smaller Class C or maybe a towable.

Not sure if he'll go on ebay or just donate him to a local charity.

Thanks for the fun and challenges   :good

I thought about rebuilding it but I don't think I would get a good ROI.

It did get very overheated, I think it was boiling out fluid through the vent tube on to the exhaust made for quite the spooky moment with all the smoke pouring out the back.   :eek

I can relate to that, did the same thing in my dually once, 110* towing in overdrive with the cruise on and dumb $hit me daydreamin and not paying attention going up hill and slowed down enough that the rpm's were lower than the converter stall speed, oil blew out the dipstick tube onto the headers and smoke all over the place then it quit, had to get towed home a 100mi. :banghead  :banghead  :banghead All new clutches and a paper and rubber and I was back on the road again, and paying attention... :laugh
