Thanks. :) At least it has been indoors all this time. :good

Just got a starting battery. I have a second, isolated battery for the stereo that I will replace AFTER I get the basics done.

Next up:

Replacing the fluids and lines.

I last used it 8 years ago.  :jawdrop At some point since that time, I've run the motor and pulled the trailer. I know I'll have to do a lot to it.

So I noticed that I had a non-marine carburetor on the boat, but I DO have a comparable marine version on hand. I don't remember the circumstances that caused that, but I plan to put the marine carb back on. I ordered a rebuild kit for it. :)

Thanks Art. :) I remember that being my justification way back when, but I don't remember what the issue was to begin with? The carb looks good on the outside. We'll see if the renew kit makes it work.

I replaced the fuel, fuel filter, added fuel system cleaner to the tanks and put carb cleaner in the fuel bowls.

It started right up and the motor ran well.  :D

I still have to rebuild the driver's seat and secure the passenger seat and decide how much to do to the trailer.

Doug, text me a coupla pix of the seats...I'll ask Jose "how much" to re-do...likely you'll have to bring the boat to Mira Loma.

While it's here, we'll put it on a dolly and get the trailer done.

We just had a trailer repainted for $950 in San Berdoo...Zero Rust paint with clear coat over it...will last 10 years...!!

He'll do the bunks too...I'm taking ours back over today.
He buys the best wood avail at HD, treats it, all new SS fittings, etc.

I even have rolls of bunk carpet to save a few $$...  :good

That sounds like a plan Gary! Thanks! I'll get some pics soon.

I need to have a couple feet of my frame chopped off at the rear V and have it replaced with a horizontal cross member. Can he do that as well?

Also, I lost your last email concerning stickers so I haven't responded yet.

Doug,

I'll be over at the trailer place later today and ask...they do to re-furb's, so I'm sure he'll accomodate ya...

He's a boater...he took this regular boat and added all that top stuff...regular Catalina runs...modified the trailer himself, etc.

Thanks Gary,

So these are the trailer issues:

The rear V tends to drag on driveways.
