I still have the Challenger but this is my weekly saltwater ride.
23' Haynie Bigfoot. Haynie is a local to me brand. It's called a Bigfoot because it can jump on plane in less than a foot of water. While the bow is a V, the stern is a tunnel and the prop stays in the tunnel. It's got an Evinrude E-Tec 200 mounted on a hydraulic Jack Plate with goodies like a VHF radio and a chart plotter/fish finder. My engine communicates with the Garmin so I see fuel flow, fuel level, water temp, trim and even any codes than get thrown. Docking a center console is a piece of cake and I even prefer to launch and retrieve by myself. Sometimes, I launch and swing by the bulkhead across the street from my house so Stacey and the pups can jump in there.
Each December, I have a Marine in full dress uniform standing up front to accept toys for Toys for Tots during our lighted boat parade.
