I don't have any digitals of ours in the water, so this is as good as it gets for now.

1978 Hallett 20SS  454/Berkeley,   it has some fancy manifold (Edelbrock) and some other stuff I don't know anything about, I think it pushes either 63 or 68 MPH, not too fast, but fast enough for me----Oh yeah, and 2 miles per gallon, gotta love those jets! :D

I lurk no more!

Thingamajigs and some other doodads Right on Angie!

It really is her boat i just spend money on it.

Let me add a little,
We are the 3rd owners of sportin' wood
1st owner used it 2 times a year one week at the delta and 1 weekend a year on the river, other then that it sat and and waited for attention. Our good friend talked his uncle out of it because he remembered the good times. He owned it for a few years but always had trouble starting it. We loved this boat the first time we saw it. Angie is the river rat (I'm more of a desert dweller) So she used to tell Jim that she would take his boat off his hands when he got sick of trying to start it.
One day Jim calls and says come get Your boat. He got pissed and bought an Essex.

We have damn near gone thru this whole boat. Jim's wife still gets pissed that he got rid of it every time I start it. All it needed was a relay and dual batts.
after we rebuilt the trailer we have had no trouble with this boat except the time we fried the coil up in the basin of mohave on a wed. afternoon That was fun.

Its just a basic ol family jet boat, but we have fun.

Now thats a hotboat. Reminds me of my first boat. It spent more time in the garage getting polished than on the water. Your's is truly a classic "hotboat", hope to see it at the lake.
