But our Home Refi 3 day rescending period ends today.  Which means that we should have the $$ from the refi next week.  Gonna pay off the Credit cards and new roof on the house, and should have about $1k left over per month to "play" with :D  :good

Yeah, but that probably wouldn't be an economically smart move since I was the one that brought the cement over in a trailer :D  :laugh

Well, the propshaft has now been cut to the proper length, and we took the Biesemeyer out to the lake yesterday.  I ran it about 5 times for 10 minutes each time.  It hurt my back pretty bad and I can barely walk today :(
This boat is SERIOUSLY FOR SALE and I will consider ALL offers.  I will also be more than happy to sell it either turnkey with choice of engines (476ci BBC or 468ci BBC) or complete minus motor including mounts.

So, did you sell the "B" boat today?? :jumpie  :D I was just thinking, you could get a hydro that way you don't have to worry about pushing the pedals, just stand on it and go and since you can't run in the shit, you would have a smoothe ride and save the back!.. :D  :good  :good

I'm I sharp or what!.. :rotflmao  :rotflmao  :rotflmao  :rotflmao

Nah, he didn't want it.  Although it is functional as is, it could use a new flow coat on the floor, and he didn't want to get into that kinda project. He was also gonna paint it white.  You can see every little imperfection in the hull when it's black and I think that played a part in his decision too.  Basically, he was/is looking for something in perfect condition.  I could throw another $5k into it to get it into perfect condition but then we'd be looking at a $30k boat.  That seems to be the going price for the older True Biesemeyers that are in perfect condition....

I'm gonna be taking it out again today at PCR (Lake Berryessa) for the mother's day weekend thing and I'm gonna give it a shot again and see what happens now that I have a fresh prescription of these pain killer patches :D   If it still bothers the back alot, then next weekend I'm gonna pull the 468ci motor that's in it and put it in the Jet Boat and putting the 476 that is in the Jet now on an engine stand,  and thinking about doing the floor in the Biesemeyer in Carbon Fiber :good  and then I'll put the 476ci BBC back in the Biesemeyer when the floor is done.  Who knows, maybe while I have the 476 sitting on the engine stand, I'll change the pistons to some low compression supercharged pistons and add a blower to it :D

Sorry you didn't get to sell it but it's just as well you didn't because we would have to listen to the whining in a month about how you shouldn't have sold it!. :laugh  :laugh That floor would look bitchin in carbon fibre, I saw a Sanger that "Sangster" did, looked great!. :good Also a change in pistons and a blower would be a step in the right direction!.. :good  :laugh

Yeah, Sangster and I looked it over this morning at the Lake.  I'll do part of the work and he'll do the rest.  I'm gonna do what I can with grinding and sanding, pain permiting, according to what Sangster said he needs done to it before doing the carbon fiber.  Sangster will be doing the actual carbon fiber portion of the floor.  I saw a few boats out there today that he did and the floors on those are just straight up unbelieveable! :good
Had fun at the lake today for the few hours that we were there. Still had issues with my back though.  It's not really the waves/rollers that get me, I think the problem is the constant working of the pedals.  That makes me hurt like hell within seconds...
Mrs BBT got a quick video of me running it today.  The video is shaky and I wasn't going too fast but at least now we have proof that I've had the thing on the water :laugh   I'll post a link to the video as soon as Mrs BBT does her thing with the camera/computer and converts it to a .mpg for me.

Hey glad you had some fun today! :good  :good So you're going to get the floor done huh very cool :good it ought to be badass when it's done!.. :good

Sorry about the back, it sounds like you have the same shit as I had, the sciatic nerve going down the left side, feels like there's a knife stuck in there and everytime you move someone gives it a tweak on ya!.. :(

Ya know, it's not much of the sciatic nerve that's giving me the problems.  According to the Doctor, the main thing that's giving me the problems is the nerves that "criss cross" throughout your spine and discs.  That's why he feels that I'm a good candidate for the the disc replacement surgery.  They would end up "cutting" the nerves that run through the discs.  Only problem is, the disc replacement thing is not FDA approved in the USA yet, although they have been doing it in Australia and Europe for 10 years now with a 95% success rate.  SOunds like our typical USA Government red tape holding things up.  And even once it's FDA approved (Which my Doctor thinks will be within 6 months to a year) then it will be a battle to get the Insurance company to pay for a relatively "New" operation. :rolleyes  :beat
