Quote (BigBoyToys @ Mar. 10 2004,7:40 pm) | Hey Gerry, NJBA starts up again next weekend 3/20.  I'm getting the fever.....I made the March race last year ya know....   Just getting ideas.  It's tough sitting out here in the 80+ degree weather all day and not being in a boat  Time to hit the water!
We are also seriously THINKING about maybe running a race car (Did I just say that? ) Â Thinking about running the Bombers up at Roseville. Â Fairly inexpensive and get to turn left. Â Maybe even a dirt track Outlaw car...... Hmmmmm, that would be different.
Damnit! Â I want to race again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Â F'ing Back, F'ing Employer, F'ing Insurance Companies
Sorry, just had to ramble on and vent a bit. Â Now time to get ready to sign a bunch of papers........ |
Stick to boats it's cheaper, dirt track is a blast but the fkn wall don't bend and front end parts are expensive!.

Ford in a Jet? How can that be? How can it go fast enough to keep from sinking? Lightweight oars?

Ya but my oarlocks hav been custom gound for less wind resistance and rubber inserts for less slippage actually i think they came off a chevy pwr'd v-drive that used to b a circle racer now he just uses a sail and for the mast he just uses his prop shaft he said it made it worthwhile owning a v-drive now that he can actually use it in all water conditions//but i wouldnt know any better i've alway owned a jet it just takes a licking and keeps on ......well u know the rest....ps thats all v-drives but Art's

no! i got one of them this engine used to be in the syndicate Jim now owns 1 day while raising hell with a flat i lost the fuel pump for the N2O ended up losing the race and the engine big holes in the pistons that was twenty years ago this july 7 I thought i was over this dawm addiction/ met JIm & it started allover again. Now the beast is back together & we'll see if she get along with this Nordic tunnel. Â Like i tell everyone the only thing left Ford in her is the cast iron and as soon as i finish these new IDT heads(they flow 440int310exh out of the box) there will be even less Ford cast iron......I guess you were looking for a simple yes or no ...HUH |
Ok cool, just wondered because I could make one at the same time for ya!.Soon as I get the measurements from Big H I'll see what I need for material and I'll let you know what the cost will be!. BTW, I take it your not using a mechanical fuel pump right!.
