Hey Gerry, NJBA starts up again next weekend 3/20.  I'm getting the fever.....I made the March race last year ya know.... :D  :good  Just getting ideas.  It's tough sitting out here in the 80+ degree weather all day and not being in a boat :(   Time to hit the water!

We are also seriously THINKING about maybe running a race car (Did I just say that? :eek )  Thinking about running the Bombers up at Roseville.  Fairly inexpensive and get to turn left.  Maybe even a dirt track Outlaw car...... Hmmmmm, that would be different.

Damnit!  I want to race again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  F'ing Back, F'ing Employer, F'ing Insurance Companies :angry

Sorry, just had to ramble on and vent a bit.  Now time to get ready to sign a bunch of papers........

Boats are cheaper?  Boat racing is cheaper?  No way!  I was dropping $3k per weekend of racing last year.  If auto and dirt track is more expensive than that, maybe I'd better get a race bicycle and become the next Lance Armstrong. :D  :laugh

Ya but my oarlocks hav been custom gound for less wind resistance and rubber inserts for less slippage actually i think they came off a chevy pwr'd v-drive that used to b a circle racer now he just uses a sail and for the mast he just uses his prop shaft he said it made it worthwhile owning a v-drive now that he can actually use it in all water conditions//but i wouldnt know any better i've alway owned a jet it just takes a licking and keeps on ......well u know the rest....ps thats all v-drives but Art's

:D   Gerry is a pretty good guy.  Just can't seem to get a boat put together  and has a poor choice of engines :rolleyes   The Syndicate that I own used to be his and I let him take it out once in a while (with a BBC) just so he keeps the urge up to want to be on the water.
Also, he was my crew chief racing in NJBA last year and did a great job.  Although we ended up only racing 3 races, we took 2nd place in all 3 :good   Not bad for a first year of Drag Racing :good

I'm thinking that I need a new driver if they don't fix my back up soon.  Come to think of it, a new wallet and bank account would be real nice too :D

Thats why i keep telling you the perfect woman is a rich, nymphomaniac, that owns a liquor store

if you're afraid of dying you're afraid of living

no! i got one of them this engine used to be in the syndicate Jim now owns 1 day while raising hell with a flat i lost the fuel pump for the N2O ended up losing the race and the engine big holes in the pistons that was twenty years ago this july 7 I thought i was over this dawm addiction/ met JIm & it started allover again. Now the beast is back together & we'll see if she get along with this Nordic tunnel.  Like i tell everyone the only thing left Ford in her is the cast iron and as soon as i finish these new IDT heads(they flow 440int310exh out of the box) there will be even less Ford cast iron......I guess you were looking for a simple yes or no ...HUH :rolleyes
